She didn't say it was on it. The email said that the vessel will be in Antwerp on the 16th April.

Who knows!
I think your FE was built about the same time as mine, I've just now had this email reply from Rebecca:

I have been waiting for an update from production and I can now confirm you vehicle has been built and was gate released on the 11th March. It is currently on route to the port.
Your dealer will contact you when it is on a ship as we will supply them with a list of vin numbers and they will be able to give you an idea of expected delivery.
Kind regards
Rebecca

I've already known this for a week, as the tracker says it's 'In Transit' and hopefully will make it on-board the Grande Halifax for departure on 21st March, arriving Antwerp 14th Apr. Maybe ours will ride together? Hope you get a sensible answer quickly!

I can only imagine that they are as confused as you are. With all your orders, cancellations and changes I'm surprised anyone knows who is having what. Even I have lost track on what you actually want. ??
Original Order - Grabber Blue FE - Changed Dealer (Not Difficult)
2nd Order - Carbonised Grey RWD ER - No dealer change (Even Easier!)
Never cancelled any order (The easiest!!)

Before I changed the dealer I asked if it would in any way affect my order and they said no. It really isn't rocket science. They need Wonky to re-write their system.

After checking the 2nd VIN they gave me, I'm pretty sure its just a mistaken VIN.

In respect of the vessel, I'm hoping that my car is on that ship that we've never heard of and Grimaldi have re- routed it to help with the shipping back-log.

Only time will tell if that's the case.

I just wish I hadn't received that email.

???

Hello. Ordered my car in February and been looking at all the helpful info since, thank you. Might have missed this so apologies if that's the case. I spoke with EO to look at having a charger installed. Turns out that my supply is "looped". I live in semi and it is unclear how this will be resolved; currently waiting for UKPN to visit. It appears that my drive and neighbours will have to be dug up. Thats not really an option. Does anyone have any insights? Thank you.

That was originally what I was hoping for - fingers crossed. It certainly appears that we know much more than the staff at Ford do.

Good news Spencer!

Now I wonder if my order really is on that Gral San Martin ship!
I hope not! It’s going to be in Lagos in the 16th April.

I would reply to the email and ask them to check the vessel. Yours may well be gate released and awaiting shipment.

As far as I am aware you'll need to be unlooped for a charger to be installed. UKPN will do the work for free (maybe) but it won't save the drive from being dug up. You could already skip the charger and use a standard plug. Other than that its public chargers.

That was what I feared. I was really hoping there might be another way but never mind. I'll wait and see what they say but digging up neighbours drive really isn't great and slow charging wont work for me. If I have to cancel it will be a shame.

Thanks for your input.

Hi all, new here.

I've just had an email from lease company saying:

I have the order number now in is G**** on dealer code 9*****A

Is there anyway for me to track the status of my car using this?

Cheers...

At some point in time you’ll need to unloop your supply. It will affect lots of things. Two houses sharing 80amps is not enough these days and smart meters don’t like them.

sorry for your trouble ?

The car comes with a commando plug adapter on the variopower lead. This uses a 32 amp commando socket. This will charge at almost the same speed as a wallbox. Might be an idea to ask your electrician jf this can be an alternative

Some ESVE‘s incorporate an adaptive fuse that can be set to a not to exceed load. A clamp cable on the incoming supply monitors and measures the actual load and regulates the charge output in times of high loading to ensure the maximum load is not exceeded. This can avoid a DNO main fuse upgrade. I am not sure of the impact of a looped supply but I do not immediately see why this should be an issue.

Very good point. You’ll be charging mainly off peak. I think the Zappi and Ohme has this feature.
