Same here, I think we Grande Florida Crew need to step up a gear! If as Hannah says " There is nothing wrong with your car, I can assure you of this as there are no extra quality checks being carried out. " then WHY is it taking so long?

Others on here have contacted a Georgia - does she come up with any more information?
I agree. We snet Hannah an email questioning the delay yesterday evening. If we don't hear back tomorrow, I would like to take this further, and at this point I feel pulling together to do this would be beneficial to us. I think it may need to go beyond just Ford, but getting this into the public domain that this is how they treat customers. A customer could come in and order tomorrow and at this point get their car before we do as they will get a cancelled order. Its disgusting

But the thing is who do you contact? I even tried Elena Ford in the USA and got no reply, I get the feeling Ford USA doesn't give a wotsit about Ford UK! There is a Lisa Brankin, boss of Ford UK on this link, don't know if she'd be any good... Car buyers still sceptical about going electric, says Ford boss - BBC News

My experience this morning.
Dealer picked me up at 0800 and we got to the showroom at 0900. First thing I noticed was they hadn't done number plates with the green line. That was soon changed. Keys are the same as posted except for some reason they don't have a blade inside like my old ones. You get a standalone blade. So far the only reason I can see for that is so you can deactivate the passenger airbag. It has switch as per handbook. Took about an hour or so to 90% set up profiles/settings etc. One problem which I must admit I was expecting, and I think @Wonky_Donkey had same issue, was that the profile I set up on Ford pass app wouldn't transfer to the Infotainment system. I'll have to have a further play. Had 43 miles on the clock at pickup now has 120 and I haven't used foot brake once yet. OPD is brilliant. So far you can lock/unlock the car and remote start using the app. Not delved into setting up charging etc yet. That's a job for later. Overall so far it is well worth the wait and I feel sorry for those have bailed as I think, now, they have made the wrong decision. Oh yes, build quality looks spot on. More to follow once I have had a bit more fun. Feel free to ask and if I have come across it I'll answer.
Great to hear that you are enjoying your car Graham. BEV's are licence killers because they are so fast off the block and so quiet. Time will tell if those of us who have bailed have made the right or wrong decision. I am not sure there is one in this instance as I believe the EV6 will be a great car, just as the Mach-e is a great car. I just lost all faith in my dealer and his complete silence, and the EV6 had a few things I personally preferred in the end. Hopefully Kia will be better at communicating. All I can say is that I did write to the Kia UK COO, Paul Philpott, on Sunday evening and had a response from his assistant Monday morning.

I genuinely hope that all of you who are waiting receive your cars soon, that they are everything you hope for and give you years of smile-on-your-face motoring. Every time I see one there will be a tinge of regret and 'what if', but once Alfa bring out their EV range I shall be going back to my first automotive love!

Congrats to those who got their cars today. Looks like Ford think it takes another boat to Scotland and me in Wales though my dealer reckons it will be with him next week

Oooh @portlandg I want to know how your neighbours find you reversing at 6.30am tomorrow please! (I really don't think they will hear it). Hope she fits in her stable.

I was tempted to comment on social media about the poor service, although I'm only on LinkedIn after ditching FB a few years ago. I don't consider LinkedIn appropriate..... maybe I'll try setup twitter.

I'm watching a youtube review of ionic 5. Nice looking car. It's "the late brake show" review.

Do think you might regret your decision in the long run.

It’s easy to communicate in the early days with very few orders and no problems. Wait until October when there could be no sign of your car, chip shortages and they have taken so much stick. They will probably be exactly the same as Ford now and you could get your car Jan - Mar 2022.

At the end of the day it will still be a Kia.

@Wonky_Donkey & @portlandg So glad to see you both looking pleased as punch.

You have suffered more than most on here and I’m so pleased you have your cars first.

Your reviews will just make it more difficult for me to sleep!

Enjoy your cars over the next few days and weeks. ????

At the end of the day, it's still just a Ford. There are pro's and con's for both, if you like the car then happy days, go with it. Don't forgive Ford all their sins just because they have delivered a few cars, lets wait and see what quality issues crop up over the next 12 months..

Yep, that is the risk, and it will indeed always be a Kia, not that this bothers me at all. I had enough issues with my BMW dealer post-purchase, and just did not fancy this with Ford. Everything in the last 3 months made me think it would be the same. I also think the way Ford have treated UK customers is reprehensible. So far Kia have proved better at communication, and in terms of delivery, we shall wait and see. Of course I would have loved to have a Mustang, but never say never! (I still have a second Mach-e on order, due August, so could revert back - tried to pass it on to another buyer with the £3k PICG but Ford could not do this, so decided to hold on for now just in case).
