Seems things are coming along. I electronically signed some paperwork today. So maybe I can get the car this week (if I can get rid of the present one before).

If anyone wants the 3D printer file for the charge port flap accessory - I have a copy (it’s also easily accessible on this forum) DM me your email and I’ll send it to you. I won’t let me upload it as an attachment unfortunately.

A few people have asked what it looks like (see photo below)

I ordered a couple from the USA (Jaws Tec) using the forum link. Yes postage was $50 which is high, but that included customs, and they shipped them UPS next day from USA. I ordered two (one for me and one for a lucky forum recipient who I’m meeting this weekend) Order total came to £66 for the two ($90) which I still think was worth it considering the alternative.

If anyone is considering printing their own please be aware it needs to be printed in a very durable and flexible material to allow fitting. They can be a challenge to fit at the best of times.

while I’m still over here in the US I’ve ordered 3 of these from Jaws Tec - one of which I’ll use myself and a couple of spares if others want them. I’ll be back in the UK in August so will let folks know if interested - saves the international shipping and customs charges!

Lets see if we get any updates tomorrow morning around 6am. The Celestine is due to dock in Dag' around that time. So:

1. If we receive updates between now and before the ship docks tomorrow at 6am - we can assume we aren't on the Celestine (Who is going to operate the cars squeezed together on a RORO).
2. If we see activity on Tapps tomorrow shortly after the RORO docks, I would assume, to a degree of certainty, our cars are being rolled off the ship at Dag'.
3. If no activity occurs tomorrow morning - shortly after the ship docks to 11am ish, we can assume our cars aren't on the RORO.
I am sure the ships schedule won't want any messing about so tomorrow morning will be an indication of we are in Dag or not.

Feel free to correct me.
Perfect thanks, so mine came over on the Grande Baltimora which arrived in Antwerp around the 28th May.

Fingers crossed its on the way over here now!

Hi, Yes please let me know how much.

If you have choices of colours, a red one.

Cheers

You have been lucky. I had to wait But according to some, some here have had painful waits.

Only black I'm afraid. I'll let you know when I have them - sometime mid-August when I'm back in the UK...

Good news! I'm ready to pick up now, but just waiting on the number plates to arrive - they should have arrived last week, but was told this morning they're still waiting.

I've seen today on the Etis page that they've finally managed to do the eCall fix, because all my module dates have now updated. So they've figured that out at least! I'll be picking up tomorrow or Wednesday, if the plates arrive in time!

Cheers David, very happy for you! No regrets switching from the Outlander then? Hope you get the wallbox fixed quickly!!

I’ll be seeing mine in the flesh tomorrow, so will be sharing pictures!

Hi @BlackheathDiggs

That's great news - you're almost there ... finally ?

I think the Outlander was a great PHEV, and really got me into EVs - I'll miss the load capacity and the ground clearance .......... but the Mach-E is truly sensational ? ? ?

My replacement Wallbox this morning was a dud .... so third one scheduled for Wednesday ? Fortunately the RWD ER range is great so still plenty of charge !

Cheers

Thanks David! Yes did a final long drive in the Outlander today, into central London for work, then out to pick my wife up from Heathrow, then back around the M25. A great performer all around, but now is the time to move on to something better! Last fill up from the petrol station yesterday.....

I'll be relying on public charging, but I guess that means I don't need to work about deffective wallboxes...hope you get sorted! If the next one is trouble, maybe time to ditch the Ford one and go for another type?

Hi @Wonky_Donkey

Haven't yet had to charge the car (just ~150 miles to date) so am yet to explore the charging flap!

The one on my PHEV was very robust, but from the sounds of it the same is not true of the MME. I like the look of the "accessory" but note you say they are a bit of a challenge to fit.

I am thinking of ordering one from Jaws Tec but wondered how you found the fitting?

Thanks
David
