I'm assuming that by the phrase "hill descent button" you are meaning the "L" mode button on the gear shifter.Potentially a daft question….. the hill descent button on the Mach e, what does it actually do in the rwd std model….? Many thanks.
If you cast your mind back a few months, they reduced the level of the grant without notice then as well which meant that a lot of us were expecting to lose the grant on our new MME's. The argument is that by reducing the amount of the grant it makes MORE money available for new buyers. Given what this country (and the rest of the world) has been through the last few months, I'm surprised they haven't stopped it all together. I must admit, though, I am feeling a tad smug. In August I ordered a E-Vivaro for my business which I was told wouldn't be delivered until March 2022. I was amazed, as was my dealer, that it actually arrived last month. I took delivery on 30th November and got the full £6000 PIVG. By next March I wouldn't be at all surprised if the grant has gone completely.I'm sorry to have to be political but we are truly ruled by a bunch of clowns. ? ? The only thing they can do is organise their own P**s ups during a lockdown. A reduction with no warning. They can find the money for the remains of HS2 which few people want. HS1 has been a huge success of course?. So by their logic if the rate of electric car take up goes down the grant will increase again? I think we all know the answer to that...
Yes, I can recollect they lowered the grant level. It's the fact they do it with no warning and of course if the take up of electric vehicles falters they won't raise the level of the grant again so shooting down the present argument in flames. It's also the fact they can spend ££££££'s on irrelevant "showcase" infrastructure projects. HS2 promised so much when conceived and will now deliver so little at some environmental cost. After 35 years of working for governments of various political flavours I can guarantee they can "find" funding they need to prop up marginal constituencies and Ministers' various pet vanity projects. They need to put their money where their mouth is for a low carbon or net zero carbon economy. There's too much looking at the next General Election date rather than looking long term. This is for any political party in power by the way.If you cast your mind back a few months, they reduced the level of the grant without notice then as well which meant that a lot of us were expecting to lose the grant on our new MME's. Yes mine does this randomly. Also sometimes when I try to reset Trip 1 it resets the miles and time but not the miles/kWh!Has anyone had issues with the trip computer seemingly not resetting?
I find that if I make a journey with a short stop and set off again the distance driven does not reset to 0 although the time driven does. This then has the effect of calculating wild miles/kwh numbers! (Like 7+)
I am turning off the car, leaving it locked then coming back. Think school run, trups to shop etc. Maybe around 10 minutes of idle time befire I return then drive off.
It's interesting, I drive all the time in Unbridled and never OPD so I was wondering what the effect would be on range, etc. The Ford Engineer said that there is no difference between any of the modes on range/efficiency and OPD makes no difference either. He did say the official blurb from Ford is that driving in unbridled may encourage the driver to drive harder and therefore that may affect the range but there is no 'eco' mode on a Mach-E.Potentially a daft question….. the hill descent button on the Mach e, what does it actually do in the rwd std model….? I feel your pain, my car is sitting in Flushing I believe with a delivery date expected early to mid January. It’s been a long time coming after being build in MAY!!!!!I heard today my car passed the Quality checks in Antwerp. Looking at a mid Jan delivery... Can't believe it will be the end of a ten month wait!!!
if by this you mean, the display 'adds' up short trips ... yeah, this has happened to me a few times and sometimes when the interval between the trips is more than an hour.Has anyone had issues with the trip computer seemingly not resetting?

It's worth the wait!!!I feel your pain, my car is sitting in Flushing I believe with a delivery date expected early to mid January. It’s been a long time coming after being build in MAY!!!!!
