this ADM thing that is being discussed in various channels ... that's a US thing, right? when i bought my MachE in Sept, the dealer quoted price was the same as what i got on Ford's site.
You’re right.

The ADM (Added Dealer Margin) is being added in the US. It is frowned upon by Ford.

Wouldn’t put it past this possibly coming over to the UK though if the dealers have ordered cars and the shortage continues.

Like many of you my rear pads are becoming badly grooved with the pads sticking overnight (only done 1800 miles...) I need to speak to my dealer next week about the recall. Can anyone let me know the TSB number so I can quote it?
TSB 21-2206 Vibration/Pulsation From Brakes - Brake Pad Material Stuck To Rotor
SSM 50064 Noise When Brakes Are Applied

Attached a copy of the TSB (note this is for the front brakes)

I've seen lots of discussion over how the Pano Roof and Windscreen recalls will be done and what parts will be used, so I've attached is the actual dealer full step by step instruction guide to answer all questions and squash rumours.

Skip to page 9 of the doc for the good stuff....

I noticed in Section 23 and also lower down references relating to the fixed glass reinstallation.

"NOTE: The fixed glass must be installed within 10 minutes of applying the urethane adhesive".

This, to me implies that the pano roof has been removed to enable re-installation. I wonder if some dealers are interpreting this to remove the pano roof even there are no specific instructions to do so. I think Ford could at least clarify the wording.

I’ve given up with Pentagon Steve. I’ve changed my dealer to Bristol Street Motors in Wigan. Much more interested and far better service.

I gave up after I went in was the tailgate only closing once in every umpteen attempts and the service manager said ‘it’s the key’.

I questioned him he said the signal was not strong enough. I asked him what could be done and he told me to use the button on the tailgate!
I've left a very candid review for them on Google.

I doubt it will happen here. The US has specific laws for franchised dealers which in essence prevents OEMS from stopping dealers from charging their customers what they like (or what the can get away with). That's why some over there charge, in some incidents, up to $20,000 more than MSRP. Over here it isn't like that. Ford have more control over the dealers.

That looks scary! I’m going to video my roof and windshield before I take it in.
Too many piano wires, knives and grinders mentioned for my liking. ????

My car went in today for all the updates re CSP 21P22 and the service department noted the pano roof recall. They have me on a list for the roof update to be done but don't have the parts yet. I said I was in no hurry. The service person asked if I wanted to wait until they'd carried out the work on 2 vehicles first. I immediately said that it was a good idea.
How long did they have the car to do the 21P22 updates? Were they all done in one day or did they keep it for longer?

Interesting they only allow the dealer half an hour for collection and delivery! Because of the fact that my dealer 3 minutes down the road doesn't touch the Mach E, I have to use the dealer 17 miles away so even one way would take them more than half an hour!!! Not something I have to worry about just yet though as I don't have a pano roof, but I do have the windscreen unfortunately! ?

I’ve really enjoyed my car, but with COVID I am not really using it like I intended (when I ordered 2 years ago ) so decided to sell. Dealers are offering really good prices for the RWD ER in black so I don’t lose any money!

Just wanted to thank everyone on here, especially the regular posters! You’ve all been so helpful.
I am sure I will own a facelift model in a couple of years, but best of luck with the OTAs for now. I hope Ford manage to iron them out ASAP!

Sorry to hear we are losing you but glad you’ve not lost out on ownership.

Hopefully see you back in the future. ????

I think it would be painful to watch! Looking at those instructions I suspect there will be some unseen damage done!
Don’t say that Steve. I can see me cancelling my appointment before Thursday. ??
