Turn off the heating (eheat) and your range will be significantly better! And use heated heats / steering wheel instead

@Wonky_Donkey you don’t happen to know why I keep getting that amber light on the 3 pin socket charger do you by any chance?

Also how do set the target range to 80%…. ?

Hiya

Normally the Amber light on it’s own signifies that the charger has become too warm.

There is a troubleshooting guide in the Owners Manual (attached below) on Pages 147 - 150 (printed page numbers and not the PDF page numbers :))

Have a look and see if following the steps solves the issue. If not you may have a faulty unit. It’s rare, but not unheard of.

Once we have you sorted on that issue we’ll tackle the 80% charge limit :)

So it turns out if you don’t push the connector in far enough it won’t work. Oh dear ?‍♂?

I assume you were one of the customers that were just having a reseal and not a replacement. If you have a panoramic roof then you should have gotten a replacement screen in which case your dealer has f....d up because they should have had a replacement screen already for you before calling you in for the recall. That is why mine hasn't been called in yet. Still waiting for new screen.

Correct, it was a reseal job. I don’t have a pano roof. I’m enjoying the loaner car in any case , nice upgrade from mine . So they can take their sweet time sourcing the replacement .

my dealer booked me in and is now twiddling thumbs waiting for the windshield people. Four days now since I gave the car.

I have a 4X as a loaner with lower mileage than mine so they can take all the time they want … but it is weird how dealers work. You would have thought they take bookings only when there is certainty the job will be done.

Unfortunately it seems that there isn't a dealer standard anymore. My dealer seems to be the best of the bunch (at the moment at least). He has mine and his demo screens on order and once he has them is going to do his demo car first to practise on and get any necessary extra bits that are needed. He is then going to give me that one while mine is in getting all the work done. If mine is off the road for more than 2 days I will be very disappointed. I'm in no rush. I can still use the car, it still works as it should and, touch wood, I have only 1 or 2 minor issues with it which hopefully will be resolved with the update they are doing. Going by some of the reports on here, @Wonky_Donkey to name one, I think I have been extremely lucky (so far) with my car.

how do i change the bank account on my Fordpass card? i mean the charge card that we use for BP Pulse, Ionity, etc.

i have changed my bank account for Ford Credit and it takes the credit agreement payment without any issue but the charge card still takes the old bank account.

No need to call anyone - you can edit your FordPass payment methods online by going to the Online Dashboard at www.ford.co.uk/dashboard
