The latest information I received from Head Office was as follows:

onfirmation, via my VIN Number, that my car has all the hardware for Blue Cruise;

There is an Over The Air Update that is due to be scheduled for this and once this becomes available you will be notified via the Ford Pass App.

The Blue Cruise is in production so hoepfully this will be with you soon.

The estimate is by end Q2 2025.
I’m certain mine has the hardware, too . I think I will subscribe when I can.

Yes, same here, would like to see it in action.

I think we should get a 3 month trial. Like the fact you can start and cancel at anytime. ??

OTA stopped at least 6 months ago. Last OTA was the Body Control Module Update - Step 1 of 2 (Priority Update 23-PU0924-DLDC)

So the car is out of warranty since last mid November. WiFi connected and the symbol at the top left hand side of the screen indicates I have connectivity for OTA.

I have contacted FORD, and they have told me that I will still get OTA updates. Great, but the tech team have suggested that I might have some DTC’s that prevent the OTA’s from happening. I have connected my 6 different scanners to the OBD2 port and all report the same, 0 faults found. There are no fault lights appearing on the dash. The car runs fantastically well (some may think, why bother, what’s the problem then, I know I 100% get that but I just would like to get an answer)

Now are there DTC’s that only FORD can see? FORD suggests I take it to a dealer to check. Last time I did that they said to start any diagnosis it would cost at least Ā£120. So my questions are :-

1) Are there FORD only DTC’s stored that an owner cannot see?
2) Can somebody recommend a Scan tool for the Mach-e

Many thanks in advance.

ForScan and a compatible cable can read all the DTCs and clear them. However i’m not sure they’re blocking OTA.

You can get one of the guys to check your modules remotely in the FDRS checking thread.

Where in Scotland are you?

Made it to the dealer to drop the poorly Mach e off, seems there is a slight reduction in power. Fingers crossed they get the collision system fault, external temp sensor fault, high voltage battery fault and the Drivetrain fault all fixed tomorrow ??????????

oh and no Mustang branded keys in stock which is the biggy for me ?

An update:
Dealers are saying the external temp sensor and collision system sensor (I assume the radar behind the grill?) have been damaged by a front impact, now I don’t doubt and its plausible the car may have taken a front impact in the car park causing the front bumper cover to pop out but other than that no visible damage to the bumper or paintwork but the dealer has stated they have found a stress behind/below/back of bumper, ive asked for the photo but not had it yet.

If a minimal impact has sent the sensors out of alignment i get that but to break both these sensors is in my mind a bad design but doesnt surprise me.

I await another call from the dealer with an update to exact issue and remedy plus cost and what they are doing about the HV battery and drivetrain/awd faults. I read somewhere else on the forum $4500 for a new radar sensor!!! I havent researched it fully but that sounds bonkers but again not a surprise.

I didnt ask for a courtesy car at this stage as didnt need one, if they cant fix the HV battery fault etc by early next week i will be asking for one.

You can see those sensors on Ebay for circa £400 so I assume the ford price would be in that area.
