But then it all comes down to the scheduleThis matches what I've heard too. MP1 = FCTP and company cars starts Sept 28. MP2 = customer units starts Oct 26th. With the ok to buy date (signoff to allow dealers to sell vehicle to customers) being in the last week of November.
In order to reconcile the 3-4 weeks from production to delivery I'm working backwards from the ok to buy date, which I've heard is the last week of November. If it was true that they were making the First Editions in MP1 (end of Sept) then those vehicles would have to sit on the factory lot for 4 weeks before shipping (production beginning at end of Sept, shipping out end of Oct to have 4 weeks before the ok to buy date at the end of Nov).
I think it's more likely that the customer units will start production at the end of Oct for first deliveries at the end of Nov (3-4 weeks from prod to delivery), rather than having the vehicles sit for a month.
My speculation: since the CA Rt1 and Selects are now said to start deliveries in 2020, and are probably a low number of units anyway, it would not hurt to mix them in with the Premiums.
OKTB for NA is now 11/23
