Ok, those two guys have a LOT of time and patience. I am worn out from watching them. And no shirts but long pants?

I wish the people directing and operating the trains delivering our cars had this kind of energy and enthusiasm!!!!

Mine is now "in transit" with a 6 week delivery timeline!!!! 🤯😵

Does anyone know actually how long the cars are moving on the trains and how long they are sitting in terminal parking facility lots?

https://midamericafreight.org/index...rail/intermodal-facilities/ns-kansas-city-mo/

And maybe what the actual route is from the Ford Plant to Jacksonville, FL? Just curious about that one...

Someone posted a link about train car transfers, but I can't find the link. Explains why it takes months to move cars by train.

This info is in various posts but buts about 4 to 6 weeks overall unless the destination is close to KC and gets trucked. We have seen consistently 2 weeks from plant to KC and about two weeks more from KC to west coast or more to east coast or other spokes if you think KC as the hub . From KC they get transported to various ramps and then on to different train company carriers and there may be exchanges midway to some places. And then trucking from the last delivery point. If you assume 2 weeks from plant to KC and then another week to three to your region that gives an estimate of transportation time and everything in between that consumes calendar days is waiting for trains, transports etc. I have not recently checked the Florida regional posts but there may be delivery times mentioned providing insight to time from KC.
