A lot of people on these forums are going to drive themselves nuts trying to figure out delivery times and delays down to the day. In the greater scheme of things, Mach-e, wise, this isn’t going to matter. Beyond the FE’s, this was destined to be a 2021 delivery anyway thanks to SARS-COV-2.
While true, there are quite a few here with FEs on order, where delivery just before vs just after the end of the year can have big tax ramifications. In my state that results in a $1500 difference. And for all in the US, it impacts whether the $7500 credit goes into the 2020 tax year or 2021. For some, that could still take some maneuvering to ensure they can get the full credit.

Might be a few Premiums that could sneak into 2020 as well. But you're right that most will be in 2021, where a few days don't make much substantial difference.

The first 8,000 Batteries were supplied from South Korea. Just pushed the issue to find it out. So they will be put into dealer demo models FE and the first couple of thousand Premium.;)
I wonder if there are any concerns about the battery cells from South Korea vs. Poland? Is one 'better' or 'worse' than the other? Any quality concerns about battery cells from either source?

Ford gets the cells from LG Chem and makes the battery packs at the Mach-E assembly plant. As a hour 1 reservation Premium order holder I'm sure my vehicle will be built in the very, very early stages with the South Korean cells.

The mache is launch is 4 days behind right now. If things get behind dealer demo might be put on hold to get FE out first when MP2 starts.
Did get the chance to see some more of the JD Power review. They also were not a fan of the frunk divider. Jd power has to finish checking one more model before release.

Have a review coming out for you all later today or first thing tomorrow. From an important person.
I don't know what most of this is referring to but I like it and thank you.

It’s possible the demand for the European EV market made it simpler for LG Chem use the cells out of Poland there initially and ship the Mach-E cells from Korea to Cuautitlan.

The cells are made by the same company both places so should be of equal quality.

If the FE’s are going to be assembled before the FCTP / Demos, I would to expect to receive a build date very soon.

OK, guys, one more time and with feeling... it's about the batteries and OTAs.

My take on the frunk divider, and note, the seal on the frunk is makes it about as airtight as a refrigerator:
Can a child get into the frunk with the divider in place?
Can a stupid frat stuff a pledge into a frunk with a divider?

I'm guessing the divider stays, and for very good reasons.

I get that, but then why do other EV's not have those? Is Ford just more safety conscious?

Been driving a Chevy Bolt with LG Chem battery and drive train assembled in South Korea using the same pouch cell technology. No concerns what so ever here. 3 years and 42,000 miles in, I can't tell a difference from when it was new. Still get more range than I was ever promised. I actually replaced the first worn out part yesterday, key fob battery.

That would really surprise me. From that standpoint (holding a body), it's the same thing as a trunk in every sedan. And those don't have dividers to keep bodies out.

For some reason, many times stupid seems to be able circumnavigate the best intended obstacles... BTW, during an original Tesla Mode S reveal, an individual was placed inside the frunk!

But your trunk is NOT airtight. Apparently, the seal on the frunk is airtight.
