I did a subject search but didn’t see anything about this question. We ha a Chargepoint Home Flex EVSE installed by an electrician this week and used it for the first time last night. It is on a 50A circuit and set to charge at 40A. What I’m seeing on the Ford Pass AP for the car is no indication of charging like we got using the portable charger that came with the car. The Chargepoint Home Flex AP showed it charging at 9.5kw and that there was a successful session. But the car still shows no change in charge state for the battery when I use the Ford pass AP to check. Is there a software switch that I need to change in the MME to get it to recognize the Chargepoint Home Flex?

Also the car itself shows it charged to 90% as it always does. But the ford pass AP still shows the starting charge level.

I’m 70 miles north of Seattle. And it’s the same information on two different phones. So I guess it’s a broader problem.

It has nothing to do with your charger, just a coincidence.

Your car is not communicating with Ford servers.

Try a soft reboot of SYNC (hold Vol down and next track on the steering wheel until the screen goes black) and be sure to fully close and reopen the apps on your phone.

If that doesn’t work then pull the 11/12 fuse (TCU) and 21/22 fuse (gateway module) in the passenger footwell or alternatively pull the negative 12V battery cable under the frunk panels for a few minutes to force a hardware reboot.

Is there AT&T cellular service in your garage? If there’s no service then the app won’t update until the car gets back in a service area.

Yes. We have ATT cell phones. And we’ve now driven the car into town and there is no updated information on the Ford Pass Ap

OK, did you quit FordPass and reboot your phone? Make sure vehicle data sharing is enabled on in the car settings. If that doesn’t work, you can pull the fuses or 12V battery cable. Or just wait 24 hours, sometimes this resolves with time.

Thanks. I turned phone off and then back on, no difference. The ford pass app has a circling update arrow that then resolves to update failed. It has worked for two years, the difference is the ChargePoint evse. It worked, the car is charged, it just doesn’t show in the ford pass app.

It's likely a FordPass server-side glitch. Try locking your doors using the FP app. My app was reporting my car's location from a couple of days ago. I hit the lock button and once the app reported that the car was locked the location information was updated to "Now." 😁🐩

Locking and unlocking and starting the car with the phone all work. The location is wrong and shows is at an address we were at last night 19 miles away. I drove it 140 miles round trip to pick some one up at the airport and found the navigation wasn’t working, it too was located at the address we parked at last night AND naturally the blue cruise didn’t work because no access to mapping was available. The mystery deepens.

I don't think anyone has recommended fully uninstalling the Ford Pass app and reinstalling it. I'm in the US and use a Homeflex charger as well. My Chargepoint and FordPass apps align.

If anything, my walk up unlock with PaaK has not been working (have to unlock my phone or use the FordPass app to unlock). But that is very likely a separate issue. Charging info has been fine.

Out of curiosity, what phone do you have? I'm using an AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S23.

My Mach-E has been having communication issues with FordPass, while my Lightning has not. I blame Ford servers.
