Since it takes about 6-12 months to get any EV nowadays, What EV would you consider if you were to move on from the MachE?

I'm sorta happy with the GTPE (frustrated with the power reduction and Ford's response with the current recall.) But I figured with the market where it current stands, I'll be slightly head if I sell in the next 6-12 months. So Was thinking about the next EV. Cant go back to ICE, because its so convenient to be fully charged every morning.

Already on a 2nd Model Y, so no more tesla. Great car, but want something different.

Some of the EVs I was considering are in no particular order:
Macan EV
Taycan CT4
Audi Etron GT
Genesis GV60
BMW i50

Anything else out there interesting?

In addition to my Mach-E, I purchased a Volvo C40. I really love them both. They are similar size and are great daily drivers.

I’m getting the Cadillac Lyriq once it comes out in AWD
I am also planning to get the Cadillac Lyriq in 2024 or 2025. It will cost me just a little more than the Mach-E, which starts st $70,000 here due to import taxes. Besides the cost issue, it is for my wife. I will keep my Fusion Hybrid for many more years. Then I expect to buy a new Ford electric sedan.

With those flaps, it can't be a time machine :)
I see 'broken'
The original DMC car has ÄŁull wing doors that work correctly after so many years, not like the Tesla Model X.

Fisker Ocean boasts that. My dad is getting into this EV thing and has been doing some research. He drives a hybrid right now.

I get it. But I like i taking a break on a journery to charge, rest up, or chat with others. I am not the type that needs to get there in one charge. He is. I tell him part of the fun is about stopping and charging.

We have a Rivian R1S preordered since last year. If we don’t end up moving out of the country, we expect to have it late next year. Also looking forward to the Kia EV9.

The Lyric is definitely on the radar. Beautiful SUV.

Also like the Mercedes EQE, although performance stats not exactly industry-leading for the money.

I learned a painful lesson waiting 9 months for the MME so I will have the option to purchase a new car every year going forward should I want to pull the trigger. Even if I lose every deposit, it’s worth having the optionality. I try and keep three cars in my stable at all times.

Ordered Fisker Ocean: delivery possibly late 2023
Porsche Taycan for 2024/25 delivery…. Ordering soon
Possibly a Rivian for a 2025/26 delivery

I have a Model Y performance on order which I will probably cancel, or buy and flip, as that is coming in 3-6 months. I might order a MME GT next month as well. Ford will continue to take a long time to deliver cars.

If Ford makes a FWD Maverick full BEV that will be my next.

If not...I have no idea.
