Wish List for OTA Changes/Enhancements

Agree with this completely. The cameras not coming up readily on forward parking is driving me nuts. Menu is buried too deep in the UI to be easily accessed, and the UI isn’t exactly fast getting there.

Our other car has 360 cameras and we love using them for parking, plus they activate well and in the rare cases they don’t there is an easy button to launch the parking view. Hoping this makes the OTA update list quickly.

Would be great if Ford also offered option of using the front and back cameras as dashcams while driving, written to cloud. It only has to record last 15-30 min of driving and then footage can get overwritten. I’d be willing to pay a subscription for this, will also be an additional revenue stream for Ford. You’re welcome Ford. Also include option to select recording motion around car when car parked (In public space).

Around here they are mostly minimum speed limits no matter what you are driving.

Also, dont let the car start randomly playing the radio when I start if I NEVER PLAY THE RADIO. That's an annoying bug.

Comments on prestarting Sync are spot on. Nothing ruins my trip more than not being able to do ANYTHING in the car until I'm well out of my subdivision because it's lagging. No turning off the unwanted radio, no seat heater, not even the backup camera sometimes. Completely unacceptable for a car that has almost no buttons. The single thing that makes we wish I listened to my luddite half that wanted a Bolt instead.

There's sort of a workaround for that you could apply now. Assuming you're not using all 3 driver profiles, you could set #3 up to be exactly the same as the one you normally use, except with different audio balance. Then just hit door button #3 when wanting to switch to it.

Some items for cruise control...

1. Move the CC speed number on the driver screen BELOW the speed limit icon instead of above it. The steering wheel often blocks easy view of the upper-right corner where it's at now.

2. Add N, A, or I to the driver display to show which CC mode you're in (Normal, Adaptive, Intelligent).

3. Be able to press and hold the steering wheel CC button to rotate between the 3 modes. Having to change modes only via the Settings menu is cumbersome when driving.

I wish they gave us a way to set a car start code (not valet, but a permanent backup code) without enabling PAAK.

I don't like PAAK, so I keep it off and carry the fob like normal. PAAK sometimes interferes with fob dependability. I'm never turning PAAK on. Only thing I miss is having a car start code in case I lose the fob or it fails. I do have a door code set, but that only opens the door.

Puddle lights on demand I am surprised they don't have, even my 2021 F-150 has the ability to turn zone lighting and control which exterior lights come on, on demand. They should implement something similar.

Charging schedule override pop-up on the Sync4 screen when the car is plugged into a charging location that has a delayed schedule set for it.

So for instance, if I have a home charger schedule set for midnight-8am, and I arrive home near empty at 2pm and decide I want a "Now" charge, when I plug it in, a pop-up should appear on the screen for ~2 minutes asking "Do you want to temporarily override the schedule and begin charging immediately?". If you ignore it, it just times out after 2 minutes and schedules the charge like normal. If you answer Yes, it then asks you what % you want to charge up to.

The Chevy volt has ALWAYS had this feature and when I commuted I used it every day, as I scheduled car to charge during late night hours when time of day rates for electricity were cheaper. Silly that ford missed this use case, I second that on the wish list. ,

Turn on the parking cameras sometime and look at the images. Would those be sufficient for what you want (are they adequately capturing what would be behind and in front of you)? I suspect the only viable “dash cam” solution would be the one in the inside rear-view mirror complex. And if ford enabled the functionality you’re asking for, they’d be canabalizing their dealer-installed accessories solutions (and taking money from dealers ?)

I'd still like to see bug fixes so the driver seat always returns to the memory setting and the this trip always resets distance

Have the driver front display show kwh consumption rate . Its on the card on the big screen but is distracting to take eyes off the road.

Make the big screen tiles customizable like favorites or shortcuts /stickies
