Wish List for OTA Changes/Enhancements

I totally agree with a fix for disabling the alarm when it’s parked at home in the garage. If I forget to disable it, or heaven forbid reach thru an open window, the alarm goes off. Someone walks past it in the garage, the alarm goes off. I use paak but have to keep the fob next to the garage entrance to turn off all of the unnecessary alarm triggers. Why can’t it just know it is at my home, on my home network, and give me the option to always turn the alarm off when at this location?

You can disable the interior motion sensors. Just remember to turn them off every time you exit the vehicle because that setting refuses to stick. We’ve been waiting for a fix to that bug. For about 4 months.

I wish they would add the altitude to the Ford nav tile display. I use Android Auto for nav, because I use Google Maps for everything else and I have all my bookmarks and planning already there. One thing AA doesn't have though is altitude, and that's useful in an EV to monitor range and mileage (since elevation gain/loss has outsized impact). It's great that the Ford nav displays altitude, but you have to open the tile to see it. If they would just add the altimeter to the small tile display under the location name, it would be on the screen at all times, underneath the main AA screen. That would be great.

• Voice command for A/C on/off and defroster on/off
• Voice command for switching drive modes
• Adding defroster on/off to departure settings/remote start. I care about having the windows clear of condensation and/or ice far more than than I do about cabin temperature in the winter.

Number one on my wish list is that they actually do an OTA that does something. 8 months a couple OTA that supposedly fixed something. Any one of these suggestions and blue cruise as promised would be amazing.

Auto dipping side mirrors when in reverse (Perhaps BMW has a patent on this?)

One click button for parking cameras from home screen.

Configurable puddle lamps. (Behaviour, time etc)

Pull out of parking space from outside car like some other vehicles. Push and hold button in the app for example.

I would like to add.
1)Save whether a screen is large or small could be a pin icon in the corner.
2) Tapping auto on the heating also switches off. So sequence is 1-2-3-off-1-2-3 etc.So can switch off heating easier.
3) Defrosr front windscreen without going into heating screen. Maybe a button on front screen or long press on demist button.
4)When charging show charging info in instrument screen.
5) FordPass can save single locations that you can access in navigation (not a journey).
6)Be able to remove radio station tiles.

In Android Auto Maps? Or on the Ford nav tile?

It's not on my tile (the tiles that you scroll left-right on the bottom of the screen). I only see altitude by actually opening the Ford nav app from the tile to place the nav on the main screen (which then replaces Android Auto Maps on the screen).

There’s a physical button for max defrost by your left knee. Oh wait, you‘re in the UK so it’s probably by your right knee. (near the headlight switch)

Here's two more, both involving the Walkaway Lock.

Change the sound from the annoying horn beep to a gentler chirp. Or add an option for either choice (OFF-CHIRP-HORN). The horn is way too loud and obnoxious, especially in a garage.

And speaking of garages, there needs to be a GPS location exemption for home (like the custom charging location schedules) on the Walkaway Lock feature. This thing locks and unlocks every time I walk into my garage. And does it a dozen times if I'm actually doing work in the garage. I'm afraid I'm going to burn out the mechanisms from overuse.

- More trips log detail. Should be able to see each trip and all it's stats.
- propulsion sound volume
- remove rounded corners on carplay (though this is probably coming from Apple)
- show real-time regen amount while braking in 1PD

One of the stats I'd like to use is KW charged in addition to percent charge.

I generally ignore the radio and listen to music on USB drives as I have a lot of them that I used in my Chevy. It would be real nice to be able to browse the directory structure on the USB device and select where to start playing. The Chevy had this and I miss it.
