JuiceBox 40. They had a $50 off Earth Day special, (looks like its still going on). It's the plug in one.

I had an extra outlet put into my garage and I've been using the charger that came with the car and haven't felt like I'd ever need more than that.
I drive 70 miles roundtrip a day for work so I don't think the provided charger will be enough. From what I am understanding it only charges 3 miles an hour with a regular outlet. Is that correct? I know 0 about electrical stuff lol.

Yes, if you plug it into a regular 120v outlet. But you can also plug it into a NEMA 14-50 240v outlet for a charging rate of around 21 miles per hour.

I bought the grizzl-E classic 40.
Very happy with it.
Glad to see some good reviews on the Grizzl-E classic. I just bought one and I expect to install it this weekend. I just couldn't justify paying almost twice the price for the Chargepoint Flex (which was appealing due to the ability to charge at 48V hardwired, which I'll be doing for my charger). I like that the Grizzl-E appears to be well built, and I feel like I can utilize the "smart" features in Fordpass to save $300+.

My utility offered a $250 instant rebate on the CPHF. That definitely played a part in my decision to go with a 'smart' EVSE.

I will be ordering two of the new 40 Amp Grizzl-E Smart Chargers as soon as they are back in stock. One regular Smart Grizzl-E and one Grizzl-E Avalanche edition Smart charger for my vacation/rental property in Wisconsin. They come in at a reasonable price point and will be able to leverage the 14-50 NEMA outlets that I already have installed. The one thing I am curious about is whether I will be able to get a tax credit for purchasing 1-2 of the Grizzl-E chargers when I have already taken a credit for the installation of the 14-50 NEMA. Guess that'll be a question for my accountant...

Confirm with your accountant, but as long as you haven't claimed the full 1000 dollars you can claim 30 of those costs. Also I don't know if it is per location you install them or if it is per individual. I am able to claim the wiring that needs to be done and the purchase and take 30 percent of each.

That's a great deal, and would have swayed my decision as well. The Grizzl-E has a sturdy, no frills look.....the Chargepoint Flex just looks cool!

I got the Grizzl-e for the same reasons, and that it will also do 40A. Couldn't rationalize the extra $ for smart charging when FordPass can do the same.

Just to be clear, FordPass can do some of the things a smart charger can do, but not everything. Showing the charging speed (power draw) is one example.

Oh man I didn't know the ford ones were recalled! I just ordered my mach e a week ago so I have time on the charger lol. Trying to learn about all of this is so overwhelming.
The other reason was so that I didn’t have to hardware the 48amp Ford connect.
This way if the grizzl-E fails, I just plug my Ford Mobile charger back in. Plus the grizzl had a 25% sale on which ended March 31st.

This video explains everything in a very easy to understand way and should help you decide what you might want for home charging. A 14-50 240v 50 amp outlet with the charger that comes with the car will work for many people.

Yes check with your accountant, but I think the personal credit is limited to your main home. So if you install one now, then move and install another, you are eligible for double credit.
