This is good to know. However, what about those of us who had SSM 49730 done? My dealer told me yesterday that the mechanic working on my car said the update to RFA module was done and 21B36 found no update for RFA module at this time. He also checked Oasis for updated information and found RFA module had been updated on May 18, 2021 which was the date they performed SSM 49730 on my car. The dealer told me that SSM 49730 was CSP 21B36. I don't know if he is correct in this or not but they didn't do anything yesterday because the RFA module update had already been done. I am totally confused at this point and don't know who to believe on this and whether additional work needs to be done on 21B36 or not. Can you tell me if the Field Engineer said that CSP 21B36 is the same as SSM 49730? Thanks. My Dealer Service Tech has a Ford field engr present as mine was the first to get the update in town.... Ford Engr said it could not OTA because some of the RFA module software has to be loaded thru OBD port, and the physical key fob is needed as they have to turn vehicle off/on several times with fob to preserve PAAK settings and BackupStartCode.
