I was having the same issue this AM, even after the update. Deleting and reinstalling Fordpass fixed, but also deleted my existing PaaK, so I had to add it again. Wasn't a big deal for me, but I can see it being a problem if you didn't have the fob and the app updated over wifi at work or something.

I have no idea what that means.

Vehicle is not asleep.
App says vehicle is asleep.
It means that the vehicle shows asleep for everyone after a certain (seemingly small) amount of time. It's not something unique to you.

Presumably some modules are sleeping in the car to conserve battery power which prevents regular status updates. An OTA in the future will make it so that even if the car enters an idle/sleep mode it will still be able to show status updates.

App has used 15% of my battery after three and half hours. Battery drain issue still not fixed for me.
Hello @Ford Motor Company , anyone home?

Curious question. Why are people leaving the app running all the time? Are folks monitoring charging or something else? Personally, unless I’m going to be using the car I keep that bad app turned off. ;)

PaaK. Before 3.25 (I think, I can't even keep track anymore), I could go all day and it never used over 5%.

I think that's right. IIRC 3.24 was actually ok on the iPhone (battery-wise). Right now though, I just don't bother with FP at all unless I need info it has or I'm going to use the car

I got SecurAlert, but ... it needs a little work. Went to the grocery store, got out of my car, began shopping, then 5 minutes later, I get an alert saying my door had been opened. I panicked for a second then tapped the notification and saw it was an alert from when I'd left my car 5 minutes before. If that is how it will work normally, it's kind of useless.
I set the SecuriAlert schedule to only operate at night.

That's the definition.

When the car is on, then nothing is asleep, right? App says it is.

When I turn car off, nothing should be in sleep mode right away. App says it is.

I believe nothing is asleep, and app and backend servers are the issue, but what do I know?

That "dealer button" is pretty awesome right? Okay, maybe it's nearly pointless. I think they need to remove the dealer stakeholder from any sprint planning meetings.
It seems like Ford makes this app a little more cluttered with useless stuff with every update. They should be working the other direction. I hate apps that make me scroll. Limit each page to one screen worth of info and clean this up. We don’t need a ā€œdealer buttonā€ furnished so prominently.

this may be a dumb question, but how do I check the FordPass version on my iPhone 12?
Go to the App Store and find FordPass app and you will see Version History, click on that and you will see everything.

Overall the user interface is pretty clunky - but that's all I want is to be able to swipe left on the messages to delete them. I know, such a small thing...
