3/14/22 Build Week Gang

For dealer stock with build week 3/7:

12 built and shipped, 2 built last night, 8 still in production - this gives me a bit of hope, since 2 of them took ~1 week to get to built status last night, means they didn't send last week's cars to the holding lot for now.

Seems the 1st build day got through mostly unscathed (same day or next day built status), and then the 2nd build day broke down (built status took 4-8 days). 3rd and 4th days mostly still in production.

3/7 gang member here, when you say "dealer stock" what do you mean? I'm trying to decide if I want to lose hope or hold out for a while longer.

3/7 gang member here, when you say "dealer stock" what do you mean? I'm trying to decide if I want to lose hope or hold out for a while longer.

I pulled VINs from the Ford Inventory search + AutoTrader/Cars.com/etc. and track their build info.

Somebody from Build Week 3/7 batch 4645 (the last/weekend batch) says their dealer pulled VVR and it indicates "Sent Offsite" which is potentially bad news for us. No specific mention of chip hold though.

FWIW, my dealer stock tracking for that batch shows 3 built and shipped on 3/12 and 3/15, and 3 still in production.

I don't see anything other than error codes in the .ab file. Is that where I would see an update once it is built?

Seems like our Build gang is 3.14 just like Pi so might be a long long wait. No progress on my order i had hoped that modules get loaded today or yesterday night no traction yet. Might get bumped for next week or will be weekend is this plant functional through Sat and Sun?

I would imagine if they are being built then all the required inventory to finish the build is already in the factory and in stock. Otherwise why build especially as some chips are encased and buried under seats and whatnot such that you have to install during the build…. Hopefully that is the case

This has been my take all along since the email Ford sent to me said the following:


You will receive email notifications when your vehicle is:

• Scheduled for Production – all necessary parts are secured, and your order has been placed in the production schedule.

Secured sounds like "have in possession" to me.

Still no modules for me. But I did receive my MME Charge Port Dent Protector today.
I see the longest shift from original sticker date to updated sticker date for modules is 8 days, so that might put me at 03/20/22.

most likely, I'm also thinking they are running more than 2 shifts at this point, modules seem to be populating late at night. I'm thinking they are now running 24hrs a day with 3 shifts.
