Not sure where you are in Arkansas, but here in the Russellville area, there aren't enough MMEs around for most folks to probably even recognize it. I get a lot of stares and have had a few people ask me about it, but I'm betting most don't even realize it's a BEV. I have noticed a few pony cars that seem to take off a little faster when I'm around, but maybe I'm just imagining things

I'm in NE Arkansas and haven't seen one. My cousin owns one in LR, and I passed a white one in the Searcy area a few months ago, so I've seen 2.

Just one little thing about the pinto - ford employees of the era were t going to work very day, saying to themselves “how can we design this car to blow up on impact more spectacularly?” I don’t think it’s productive to rehash all the details, but Ford made an unfortunate decision, based on actuarial science of the time, to not rectify the problem when they found out about it. I can’t see ford making the same decision today.

I haven't seen any ICE-rage. There isn't a visible Ford logo on it, but it does have the Mustang. The only thing I get is the die hard Mustang fans inquiring about it in parking lots. Informing me Mustangs have 2 doors.
My response is they are right, but the logo elevates the look more than Blue Oval would have. And unless you have a GT or better ICE Mustang, the Mach-E will beat you with 4 adults comfortably along for the ride.

Haven’t noticed it. I’ve certainly profiled big jacked up trucks, but they don’t seem to care. I think it’s a phenomenon that is fading away, but also probably more prevalent in the redder areas of the country.

All of the many questions I have had have been from curious people. Have not had anyone tell me my Mach-E is not a Mustang. (I had the same protest when I first heard about the Mach-E. Thought it should have been called a Thunderbird.) My response is ready though. It is an "adult Mustang". (Try getting older folk in the back seat of an ICE Mustang.)

One guy yelled at me out of his window that my car was "a disgrace".... He didn't stick around to talk to me, so no idea what his reasons were, although I'm sure if he did, he would have provided a well thought-out, articulate argument on why my choice in transportation was so offensive to him.

Other than that, I had someone in a BMW try to race me, including trying to cut through a Walmart parking lot to try to catch up.
