I am not an Electrical engineer nor an electrician. The design point of this particular charging unit is 16 Amps. As far as I know that is the maximum it would allow. When I upgrade my breaker to 40a(currently it is hard wired) so I plan to install a plug. I plan to have an electrician do the work. But for now it should work with no problem it would just be slow.Could you upgrade to 40amp breaker so your run is a continuous 32 amp?
