I've been using unbridled 1 pedal and getting used to it. After reading ur msg, I changed to different setting and can only see the regen message when I'm not in 1 pedal. What gives? It doesn't or can't tell us "all the time"?
You're talking about the brake coach "% energy returned" scores? My understanding is that it only shows up in Engage Mode without 1PD (not whisper and unbridled). If you have 1PD drive engaged, it's already 100% regen (except for when you engage the brake pedal with enough force when needed for quicker stopping of course).

I don't think there is any other way to track regen live but in FordPass app under your EV driving history you can see your brake score by trip. Mine is almost always in the upper 90s, so I don't think there is much room for improvement (e.g. using more regen)!

My overall feeling is that 1PD vs no 1PD accomplish essentially the same thing (maximizing use of regen)-- but not engaging 1PD gives you a bit more finite control about how fast you are slowing down, with almost all of the regen benefits retained. I think it is also safer to have 1PD off, especially if you still have to drive other vehicles without 1PD on occasion.

Thanks. Thought I was missing something. So good to know. My husband was driving, (likes engage and not 1 ped) and it was showing the regen % every time he braked and I was like, how are u doing that?. Thanks for the explanation. Just goes to prove, I'm learning something new every day?. I will say that every time I go to charge my car, it shows me more miles than last charge. I just figure it likes me driving in unbridled, 1 pedal. But w/out the regen %, I have no way of know how it's doing.

The “brake score” only shows up in Engage Mode.
I enjoy the more aggressive regen in Unbridled, but 1PD is too aggressive… I like to coast. 1PD requires me to always use my foot and while I won’t say it’s “fatiguing,” it’s not my jam.

Different strokes. I am enjoying learning the technique of 1PD to feather just the Regen I want; this is replacing the interactions of clutch, shifter, and accelerator in my manual ICE car. (Occasionally I still reach for the clutch with my left foot coming to a stop!)

I only trust MME facts posted online by Lincoln and JFK.

Today got some insight that my MME is moving today from Antwerpen port (Belgium) to Switzerland by truck. So it is coming closer.
But are they gonna hold urs to do the software update?

Charged last night. Went from 339 down to 331...but I'm thinking that was because I took 1 hour each way on highway. Not much regen there. So will have to that into account if I'm ever to travel farther than a 300 round trip. Probably will let hubby drive 1 day a week, starting next week just to keep the miles off his truck, not to mention gas isn't getting any cheaper. He puts a TON of miles on his car. Love that his work allows him to only go in 3 days a week. Bad for me, cause I can't do ANYTHING in the house that causes noise (like the vacuum?). He's constantly on conference calls?

Our rule of thumb if we both need a car is whoever is driving more miles gets the Mach E. We've put 1100 miles on it in 18 days, and haven't bought gas for our other car once!

3 weeks since delivery, always drive my MME, except after 2 flat tires! (Clipped a curb on a traffic island.) Rather than pay almost $1k for two summer Pirellis, I am getting 4 Continental UHP all seasons for the same price. Didn't want to keep summers into occasional 15-20 degree winter (N Texas).

Happy Saturday, group!
It’s been 38 days since I last bought gas!
Snowspeeder has 1270 miles, and I’m going to try to put it in a local car show up here today!

As a bit of a change of topic, has anyone elected to get some form of paint protection through their dealership? If so, what was your experience with it, and do you think it was worth the extra cost?

I had been considering getting ceramic coating or PPF sometime after taking possession. However, my car is currently sitting in recall jail at the dealership. I'm contemplating whether now is a good time to get it done since I don't have to worry about being without a vehicle or getting damage prior to getting something done.
I got PPF and interior protection through the dealer, 10 year warranty with a 5 year reapplication as needed. It was about $800 total. I do need to find out what to do about the PPF on the back end since aI was rear-ended (slow speed) and have some good scratches. I should know more this week after I go to the body shop. So far, I haven't had any issues with the protection.
