The sad thing is it appears the MME product team beleives they do have a solution that fixes the problem by redesigning the faulty part.

But Ford seems to be fine with perhaps hundreds of more owners having my experience or much worse before they fix their product properly for normal operation as intended.

This is a safety issue and people can and might be killed through such a reduction in power, complete loss of locomotion, and lack of proper messaging on what is going on and what to do.

Does that mean insiders are at least saying they’re confident in the new part or that is also a crap shoot if it is a solid fix?

my fear is that Ford will just replace the parts under warranty as they fail over the
next 7-8 years, not proactively. I’m driving more gingerly than I want to because of all this and it’s not making me happy.

I have no idea ..... but same company and engineering processes that brought you the original part and the software.
