That might be me. Bringing my car in for software Update for non robust battery part (Hope I am not making a mistake ) Will have other software updated at that time

Did you ever figure out how to set more than one day for the software update. I can only set one day at a time.

That will come with a software update. Job 2s don’t have it yet as well as a install now button. Just wait until the update queues and then set the update time for that night, any time but midnight.

How do you know when an update is queued up?

Just took the OTA update without issue. 2021 Job 2 select in EA program. I already had daily scheduled updates

I’m EA. Got my update notification. Installing now. I assume this is the “recall software” that seems pretty useless. Still waiting on some new actual functionality.

No need. That time is just when updates that require the car to be off will install. The car automatically checks for updates any time you drive.

Also, this OTA update is not out for the general public right now, so you won’t get it yet. Right now only the early access test cars are getting it. The rest of us may get it in a week or two.

It does need to be parked. I chose to update now as soon as I got home. It gave me two minutes to get out, close the doors, and lock the car. It said the doors and alarm would not function during the update.

It does, but you don’t need to update the schedule for every night until it’s already downloaded and queued.

I'm also in the Early Access program with my build 2 car (Oct '21 build date). I just got the notification today that the update was ready.

It definitely checks for updates at times that are not your update schedule. The update schedule is only for when the available updates (that require the car to be offline for a bit) will be installed.

My update schedule was for 8:20am every day. I didn't have any updates available when I got to work at 8:45 this morning. But when I got in the car at 4:45pm, it said an update was available. I had three options available: install now, schedule the installation, or let it go ahead and install automatically at the next scheduled update time (8:20am tomorrow morning).
