Looks like they got rid of the most basic Select model. Now the standard package includes most of the technology package and misses a lot of the comfort part of the package.
The only thing difference I see for the 2023 Select are:
1) no more power folding mirrors
2) no more heated seats
3) no more heated steering wheel
4) 4 way passenger seat (used to be 6 way)
I would still pick a GTPE over a MYP because of the magneride, looks and blue cruise.Besides fanboys who is picking a GTPE over the MYP now? Sheeesh
This post could be reversed as well. I'd still choose a GTPE, not paying over $70k for a car that doesn't have CarPlay, lmao, f that.Besides fanboys who is picking a GTPE over the MYP now? Sheeesh
I was referring to the 2022 Select with technology/comfort package upgrade. I was noting that they basically incorporated that technology part of the package into the standard package for 2023.Select does not come with any of the option you listed as a stad feature
Good advice, but not sure how that really applies here. Having a signed sales agreement wouldn't guarantee you to get the model year you pre-ordered if they "run out." And it wouldn't guarantee the same price for the next year model.I sure hope everyone was successful in getting signed sales agreements when their orders were placed. Learn from the past to hopefully not run into the same issues as 2021 rolled to 2022
When they converted 2021s to 2022, the net increase to the consumer was negative, i.e. a savings. My price went up $595, they gave me a $750 incentive.Good advice, but not sure how that really applies here. Having a signed sales agreement wouldn't guarantee you to get the model year you pre-ordered if they "run out." And it wouldn't guarantee the same price for the next year model.
And surely Ford won't be invoicing dealers the '23 MSRP on '22 orders. The default features, etc, don't even line up one to one.
For orders getting converted from '22 to '23, it sounds like there will be "private" offers made. You'll either accept that offer or reject it and lose your order.

Yes, they will sell all. Will Ford sell all the Mach e at the stated price increases for 2023? Is this ev pricing itself out of sales? After all,a 50k 5 year loan at 0 % interest is 850 a month. Can Jane and Joe Sixpack handle this payment?
