So true! The dedicated Delivery person at my dealership tried to tell me that BlueCruise was not yet available in Canada and that they had no idea when it would be! Due to this forum, I provided her with a ton of education about the car she was supposed to be teaching me about. And I sent her the link to the forum.
LOL Nice. My sales guy offered me a job today since he seems to think I know more than he does about tracking and the car itself. I'm just good at research and reading this forum since I have a ton of time on my hands while I'm awaiting delivery. ?

You're not paying attention here. The GOM isn't accurate. At all.
That seems to depend on the person driving, because for me(and some others too based on their comments) the GOM is almost spot on. In the past 45000kms ’s it’s always been about 10-15km less than what I’ll get out of it if I drive it to 0%. The only instances this hasn’t been true is when an ota update has reset my the GOM algorithms(and then it gives me an estimation of over 100km more than it will ever go in my real driving enviroment xD)

You’re few and very far between. They should all work that way, but the vast majority don’t.

If 50% is 113 miles, for 100% it would be around 230 miles.

But mine is premium, AWD, extended range battery. I was hoping near to 277 miles ??
I drove 230 miles yesterday, 60f, in heavy rain. Got home with 10%. Mach-e GT 91kwh (86kwh useable). Driving at the speed limits and motorway sitting at 70-75.

Cold weather zaps your range, I assumed this was a well known fact. I am lucky if I get 50% of my summer range in the dead of winter with preconditioning and storing my MME in in the garage. That 115 miles at 50% is going to look really high when the temps hit single digits and below. I knew this going into it, so I wasn’t too shocked.

In Palm Springs area, my GuessOMeter has hovered around 250-260 miles at 90% charge during 100+ degree days. Recently, with temps starting to dip into the low 90’s, the numbers are edging up into the low 270’s.

I guess we will have to continue to RE-explain GuessOMeter numbers every week until owners start to understand the technology.
Living in the warm southwestern US helps a lot except when we run the A/C all the time in the heat...

My Lightning truck now gets 25% - 30% more range than the "EPA estimate" because I don't need the A/C.

Gotta love So Cal for no more cabin heating - just roll the windows down in winter.

I also have premium AWD extended range, and even brand new in warm weather I never get above 230 mile range - even without a load and driving carefully. False range expectations. Maybe that’s the expected range without a driver in the car? I was mad at first but now have just accepted 230 as my max and plan for it.

Really there is no reason to be mad if you understand how the EPA range test is done. If you drive in the same way as the test is done, you will get EPA range. Imagine how mad you would be if you lived in the EU and thought the WLTP test they are forced to do was actually achievable in the real world?

It's not warm in Seattle now. Warm is mid 70s. You'll see around 275 or so.

It's super warm here in So Cal after the tropical rains came thru....

Love that I have to run the A/C to dehumidify and cool the cabin today.

Right. I bought it last summer and at that time, even at 75 degrees, and a brand new car, I never got over 230 miles with my “extended range” regardless of how carefully I drove. I do understand what cold and warm weather are.
