The sales person who backs up my sales person just sent me a screenshot of VinView which he said they just started using today. He tracked my car with it and it does indeed show that it's in Missouri. Very cool! (The tracker is cool - that it's taking so long to get here is still not cool).

One thing I noticed in the screen shot was that it shows as being at "Richards Gebaur - 6R". I assume this is the infamous Ramp 6R where Mach E's in transit go to waste away? If so, that might actually be progress as I've never been given that location before by either the dealer or Ford chat. Maybe it's getting ready to be loaded up?

I'm so annoyed the new VinView thing started a few days after mine showed up. I wanted to check it out. LOL

So, Richards Gebaur ramp 6R is where it goes to rot... kidding... ? it's where they'll load it onto a truck convoy to go to the next train to your final location. No way to track the trucks, unfortunately. Keep checking back for it to get the next rail car number. Mine was at Richards Gebaur on 10/11 and then 10/13 it showed shipped convoy over to Muncie, KS where it left on the next train on 10/16 towards Georgia. I don't know what it's like going your direction. Hopefully you won't be stuck there too long!!

That is the infamous 6R (which is in Missouri)...where mine has been since 10/11. Was yours somewhere else before? Have you checked with Ford Chat lately to see if it has a rail assignment or some new info? I checked yesterday and no change....and my car is supposed to be delivered here in SLC by Monday - they haven't pushed the date out...yet. Hey, maybe we'll be on the same train.

Ford Chat and my dealer were both saying the location was Internati - no mention of 6R until this VinView report today. Just checked with Ford Chat and they are still saying Internati as they have said for over 2 weeks.

Ramp 6R is the wasting area, it sits there for some undetermined amount of time until its ready to leave for the destination

Probably it never got updated to 6R, but its likely been sitting there since shortly after it arrived

Ford customer service chat just told me it was in KS, like she looked at the Ford tracker website and that's it. ?

you can always ask them for rail car info, but if its in KS then its probably at the wastleland that is ramp 6R

My salesman just signed me up for the vinview txt alerts, so I guess I should get alerted automatically when it leaves purgatory

Also my delivery date officially got the 1 month change, so now its 11/27-12/3...

I hope everybody gets their cars soon. I have driven mine for 11 days now and 800mi and absolutely love it! Worth waiting for 10.5 months!

I just got back from a Burger King run with mine. Hubby was teasing me about the MME being fatter than his Tesla... by an inch. I told him to leave the pony aloney. ?

Enjoying it so far, but I've only put 60 miles on it. The X1 has been blocking it in the garage now that it has to live outside in the driveway. I think it might be jealous. ?

I just got the change too…same delivery date as you - moved out a month. Here’s hoping for thanksgiving and beating a rail strike.

Ok guys take this with a grain of salt because I'm mostly speculating. But I think the 1 month change in delivery date might be a glitch and it won't affect your delivery time by that much., at least not everyone of you. Here's why:

I have 2 Mach-E in order. A Premium ordered in Feb with build date of 09/19. The other one is a GT ordered in March with build date of 09/26. The Premium shipped on 09/27 (a whole 9 days before the GT which shipped 10/06). I contacted my dealer and both the GT and the Premium are currently in Florida. But my Premium just got the 1 month ETA bump now showing a 12/14/2022 - 12/20/2022 date range. Contacted my dealer again and he said the Premium is definitely in Jacksonville, FL and it should be in the dealership next week (which matches the original ETA of 10/29 to 11/04). The GT is sitting at Miami and should be in today or tomorrow, maybe Monday he said. The GT didn't get the 1 month bump in ETA though.

I dont know why the Premium got the bump on ETA but dealer says it will for sure be here next week. The glitch might have to do with Ford transitioning to the new tracking system VINVIew maybe? I dont know, just speculating. But I thought I would let all know to give you guys (and myself) a little bit of hope.

I appreciate the optimism! However I think many of ours are geographical…it seems cars heading out to mountain west are all hung up in KS…not sure if it’s a rail issue or what. However, I’m hoping like you that the dates are very arbitrary and that we’ll see some movement out of the ramp 6R log jam soon.
