Mine is booked in this Thursday at the same branch to fix the blocked software..... Watch this space.
Are you still stuck on 1.6? Or did you have the "stuck on 1.6 fix" but not had any updates since? That's where I am now!

Stuck in betweeen 1.6 & 1.7. It went in to the garage in September to have the TSB 22-2166 but despite me highlighting it beforehand they did not have the correct cables & adapter. They now have these, so hopefully on Thursday they can carry out TSB 22-2166. Lets see

So my Mach E is still in getting the HV issue fixed, it's been 2 weeks and has had to go to St Albans Ford for the work, the part is now in so hopefully back next week. They are also applying the fix for being stuck at 1.6, so I should be back in it by next weekend, fingers crossed. After 2 weeks and 1600 miles in a Kia Sportage, I will never moan about any aspect of the Mach E again! Not the glitches, the ride/bounce...nothing...ever!

Dealer update, Gates in Harlow have been brilliant with constant comms and taking care of everything, so that's good to see after my first experience back in February. Can't fault them on this occasion, car was very well valeted before it had to go back the same day, which is a bonus!

Mine has been in for over 4 weeks now.

Panoramic Roof, Windscreen and HVJB recalls. Rest are sofrware. Spent 2 weeks doing nothing with the interior stripped waiting for a part.

1 Litre Ecboost Fiesta as a courtesy, starting to grind!

Had my HVJB done already weeks ago. Just had a letter from Ford telling me to get car booked in for same job again? Think I’ll have it in for its second service anyway at 41,000miles, if dealer ever answers ā€˜phone, really don’t want to leave it c60k between services, it’d have been out of warranty without a service if they changed the service intervals sooner before mine went in for its first service under original schedule! It’ll go in again just before 60k in case there’s any warranty issues found at service. Don’t like these long service intervals.

I thought your dealer was a good one unless the company has started to revert back to their old ways from the 80's and 90's...

When you get there they’re great, they got a bollocking before for not answering my calls or messages, they’re my next victim today!

None of our cars has reached 2 years so surely no-one is due the first service yet.

They changed the service intervals early on from 2 yrs/18k to 2 yrs unlimited just after my first 18k service was done!

Ahhh annoying! You should be ok for at least another year?
I daren’t leave it that long, it’d mean c60k between services. I’ve gone from 6,000/6mth service intervals on my 1973 Vauxhall Viva to c18,000 miles on the firm’s VAG cars to 12,500mls on the PHEV Outlander and now 60,000mls on the ā€˜Stang ?

What Ford quote is only a guide to keep it within the warranty terms. There's nothing stopping you getting your dealer to do a service when YOU want. Anyway, there is next to nothing to do in a service in the first place so it should be a lot cheaper than your previous vehicles.

A different animal to normal cars.

As @portlandg says, there is nothing to service.

I’ve heard it said that Tesla don’t have any service schedule at all.

They just tell you to contact them if you have an issue. ??
