As far as I know, they nuked that quite a while ago. I've seen even the F12 work around wasn't working anymore, either.Cars in our build week might still be on rails, and not on their truck journey yet. But has anyone had success tracking on palsapp? Yes you have to use F12 on your keyboard in chrome and unblock the hidden to show the VIN search. Just don't know if that's still accessible.
Looks like it might be, yet I haven't seen anyone talk about tracking the trucks recently.
@bigredx86 Did you get any "better" news from your dealer (if they have Vin View perhaps)? Just hoping the FC ETA last given you is out of whack...Jumped on FC this morning to see if anything has changed since the car was loaded on a train on the 23rd and not really. They just said it arrived at Lecheria, EM on the 24th an ETA at dealer is 1/20 which is conveniently the last projected day the vehicle tracking site says. Hoping this is wrong but time will only tell. May see if the dealer has any different info end of the week.
Nothing but what the FC gave me but I did hit them up on Monday and they let me know it is in the states, so it did cross the boarder, so that is encouraging but to get any date/time out of them when their info was updated is rough.@bigredx86 Did you get any "better" news from your dealer (if they have Vin View perhaps)? Got it, Thx. Based on other "build week" threads, it seems clear FC isn't necessarily on target with ETAs, so hopefully that is the same for yours (blah). I just hit them up and rec'd this for my status:Nothing but what the FC gave me but I did hit them up on Monday and they let me know it is in the states, so it did cross the boarder, so that is encouraging but to get any date/time out of them when their info was updated is rough.
FC info from Monday:
Status as In Transit, Received at Junction Point (Kansas City Southern Railway Co), Location Laredo, TX, ETA Jan 14th - 20th.
I've only been hitting up FC weekly along with the dealer just because it seems to try and get anymore info sooner then weekly updates just isn't worth it for rail.
I agree with the FC and Ford delivery projections being off but looking at people who got a 21/22 MY, looks like 35 days for shipping for areas around and including PA. An the date that time stamp came in is useful, I think a lot of fokes don't get that and they get old info as well. I forgot to snag that with my last talk, on Monday next week I'll get a update timestamp because the cars aren't always scanned or checked in. I think that only happens when they are moving from train to train or being disconnected and moved, not 100% on that.Got it, Thx. Our records indicate your vehicle's status is in In Transit - The vehicle has been built and is being transported from the plant to the Dealership. Your vehicle was Received at Junction Point (Kansas City Southern Railway Co ) in Laredo, TX. Your estimated delivery date is between Dec-21-2022 - Dec-27-2022. Your most recent update was on Dec-04-2022, 23:07 CT.
And here I was, not even considering the value of the time stamp...good point.I agree with the FC and Ford delivery projections being off but looking at people who got a 21/22 MY, looks like 35 days for shipping for areas around and including PA. Seeing how trains are loaded, betting were towards the front, basically last stops are up front so to speak.

Called Ford. Still says my vehicle 9511/262 has been produced and waiting to be shipped. Does convoy take longer to leave ford than train/rail? It's been there over a week. And here I was, not even considering the value of the time stamp...good point.
My 9511 114/586 has also been stuck on awaiting shipment. I just went on ford chat and was told my vehicle is in transit and ETA is still 12/22-12/28.Called Ford. So you went on the chat and did not call them. Is yours going by convoy or rail.My 9511 114/586 has also been stuck on awaiting shipment. I just went on ford chat and was told my vehicle is in transit and ETA is still 12/22-12/28.
The rail/convoy designation is more about the destination. They all leave Mexico by train.@Bigdaddy's mach e we think that "convoy" only means that the cars have to be shipped by truck from the factory to the rail yard, since they are about 2 miles apart. other factories are attached to a rail depot so they immediately get loaded onto a traincar; the assumption is the window sticker would then say "rail".
as far as i've seen, all cars leave mexico on a train. most of them seem to go to Argentine KS, but now it seems some trains are going to different places. for Argentine, the cars are actually unloaded to the south in Richards-Gebaur MO and trucked to the rail yard at Argentine, at which point they are loaded back onto train cars destined for a rail ramp near the dealer. of course some cars delivered into MO and KS just go by truck from that point.
That’s what no one outside of ford really knows, or at least I haven’t found an answer. This is the page where I learned most of what I know on this matter: https://www.lightningowners.com/threads/ford-ramp-codes-for-rail-stations.981/@dmac1418 but in the end, what does convoy vs. rail really mean then? both modes of transportation are used at various stages of the journey.
