Was at my NH dealer today settling a different deal and my rep popped open VinView...made it to the lot in Ayer, MA. Still don't get how I'm ahead of some 11/14 build week folks, but not complaining. Passing on the good luck vibes to you all via this post...

Same, but mine's in ABQ. Now I'm just waiting for the truck ride to the dealership.

I wonder if the differences in arrival time is based on when the railcars going to the next destination fill up to a given amount before they can depart? Just speculation, of course, but it would make sense, logistically, from a cost perspective.

Here's to hoping everyone else gets their final prep notifications soon (before '23) ?. Being patient has been... less than easy, and it gets worse as time ticks closer to estimated delivery date, for sure.

Mine will be at its rail destination for truck transport on the 23rd at 1am, so thats exciting, right in time for the storm which is also scary, would probably prefer its chilling inside a train car, ROFL.

Anyways, hoping for deal pickup next week.

I've got a final prep notice!!!

I shot an email to my dealer, but no word yet if it's actually been delivered.

So very interested that you have a check box for AXZ Plan Pin, because I thought ford wasn't offering X Plan Pricing on Mach-e, so that has me interested.

UPDATE: It's in!!!! My dealership reached out and said it came in two days ago! They're finishing prep right now and will let me know when it's ready for pickup.

MY22 to MY23 conversions are absolutely allowed to have AXZ plan price adjustments (my dealer confirmed this when I did the conversion). I put my pin in and it showed the appropriate discount.

Thats awesome, and I found it very nice that ford credit will honer APR's back when you "ordered" the car, like what??? Thats very nice as well, but I was able to find a killer APR through my local CU.

Talked to my sales rep today, mine is sitting in KC still and my delivery window was 12/18-12/24. It said delayed waiting on courier. So maybe next week.

Got notice today that my car arrived at the dealer. Was projected for Dev 28-Jan 3 so I’m pretty happy to get it in early and before the end of the year!

Dealer called to me let me know that they expect my car to come in tomorrow.
Unfortunately I’ll be out of town till New Year’s Eve so will have to wait till then. At least will get it this calendar year

My car is still waiting to be shipped. Batch 9511. Production week 11/21/22. Went In 11/24. Estimated delivery 1/10-1/16.

According to Ford Chat as of today, and my dealer last Tuesday mine is still in KC, MO. Now the delivery has been pushed to 12/31-1/6 2023

The tax rules have been postponed on the battery materials and manufacturing location of the battery, so I still qualify for the other restrictions on the $7500 rebate for 2023, I was just hoping to claim it in 2022. Looks like that's not going to happen.

Anyone else following this tread in the central USA/Midwest take delivery yet? 2 weeks to get a train out of KC, MO.. Now with the snow, nothing is going to happen.

Yep! We were only $500.00 apart in the end, but they obviously didn't want to sell the car to me knowing that they could throw an obscene markup on it and make more bank with less hassle.

I'm only posting this to remind people that we still have ZERO leverage in a new car transaction. With the market now lopsided and prices falling like crazy on used cars, it's only a matter of time before new car sales will be forced to follow suit. I'll probably end up buying a used Mach-E to get away from Elon. I just need to find the right one.

How did their offer on your Tesla compare with the multitude of companies out there that buy cars - e.g. Vroom; GivemetheVIN etc.? There was a definite down turn this year. We sold our '21 MY to GivemetheVIN for more than we paid for it in 12/21. This year, the numbers cratered for our '22 MY. I ended up ok from a BMW dealer (I bailed on our MachE as I knew it wouldn't make it in '22 and we won't qualify for the tax credit in '23).

That said, I'm confident that my Ford dealer would stick to their quoted trade in number that they gave me in September. Have done several deals with them and they stick to their original offers - always. Too bad the folks you worked with don't seem as nice...

Likely doesn't help that Tesla kicked in a discount at the end of the year
