I did updates last week and had a PCM mod stuck preventing me from getting last GWM update for the latest sycn version. Can someone check to see if I have a GWM update now before I spend $50?

Thanks,

If that's what they told you they have no idea what they are doing. You should call Ford and open a case with them.

Tell them they need to do that GWM (gateway) update before they do anything else. Very important. It is a requirement to get further updates done.
Thank you very much Mike. I'll do it asap and I'll let you know if successfull.

It shows it's still in your list in FDRS...Have you tried to do the "install now" thing? Or does you car not show that it has downloaded? Should be a little download icon on the top row of your Sync screen if it's available. I can't see OTA status with FDRS so you'd have to check with somebody who can see that like @Mach-Lee or @Gimme_my_MME
@CarGuy11

It failed with "errorCode":"3""ecuId":"2000". I don't know what that means. Says it will retry.

Make sure you don't have anything plugged into the USB ports before starting the update. Not sure if CarPlay or AA could interfere with it too.

Hi Mike,

So hopefully a good day at the dealer. They told me they did the HVAC update and the remaining 12 modules on my list. They were going to do the GWM, but told me my battery was ‘running low’ and they couldn’t do it. I think more likely they wanted to get done being a Friday and it was closing time soon. Can you please check the work session and let me know if anything went wrong?

I also need some help along the lines of what @AKgrampy asked in a post a few pages ago about getting the 22S41 recall update via OTA. I had a frustrating interaction with Ford CS yesterday (posted about it here). After insisting that I had to bring my car to the dealer for the update, they finally ended up telling me that they were wrong and that I had received the recall update on Jan 14. Only problem is that I never saw any notification of that. I have been getting OTA updates regularly including the HVAC one and recently 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 (and got notifications of those) but I also don't recall ever seeing that I got power up 3.6.2 which updates ABS, BECM, PCM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC. Could someone check whether I have the updated versions of these modules that would be the equivalent of getting 22S41? My VIN is 3FMTK3SU9NMA23897. Thanks!

You don't have a GWM but you do have the PCM all by itself.... ?

You may have to connect up with the Mongoose and do a network scan for that GWM to appear ?

I'll get it hooked up in a bit to see what I can do.
