This very long thread really exposes the great variance of dealer support and the occasional uninformed weakness of the OEM dealer tech workforce network, at least for now and the near future. IMHO, that will likely take several years to change for the better, considering the normal pretty rapid rotation of the back shop techs at a dealership.

It also (in the aggregate) strongly supports the purchase of FDRS-capable equipment and occasional FDRS license for the car owner.

I've been stuck at 3.5.4 since October. Looking to see if I have anything I can update with FDRS to push through this OTA blockage.

I did an update in January which got PCM stuck on my updates list but I was successful (at least according to FDRS and all other module updates) on completing that update. .
thanks

Well you are showing another PCM update. I think you should connect to FDRS to see if a network scan forces the GWM to show up. And if not, do the PCM that's in the list and then see if it shows up after that. Obviously if a GWM shows up after the scan do that first.

Can you tell if it is a new PCM update or the one stuck?

I think it's the one we all had a problem with that screwed up the dependencies on getting the GWM. I think if you do this one it should sort it out. The last programming session in FDRS for your VIN was 24 Dec. I don't see a January entry.

You are correct, it was December. I guess January flew by.

Hey Mike, the network scan. I saw that as an option in Forscan. Any idea if that's safe to run? I'm not sure it will run but I randomly reset a couple modules the other day just throwing dice at my situation.

Having had 4.1.2 applied, I’m wondering what’s left unupdated on my car: 3FMTK3SU6NMA49891 . Thanks.

3FMTK1SS3PMA01058 If you have the time could you check the status of my MME? It's a 2023 so I don't think anything is available but the Ford site Network/ota doesn't seem to recognize my car.

Thanks

I got a call from the dealership where I bought my MME yesterday morning, telling me there was a recall and they had to book me for “reprogramming of my car”. I asked for specifics but they were unable to tell me what it was about.

The dealership being over 2 hours ago, I’d rather do it at a dealership nearby.
Any clue what the recall would be for? 3FMTK3SU6NMA27566

That GWM will be the OTA 4.1.3 when it arrives.

I don't know what happens when you run a network scan in FORSCAN. I've never done that.

You have nothing in your list that would come as an OTA:

This stuff is pretty minor.
