Does anyone know yet what this dealer incentive will be? I ordered in March. Looks like the price for my config has dropped by $5k now. I'm trying to find out if I should cancel and reorder or if this incentive will be just as good. If it's like free oil changes or purchase towards Ford parts that's not worth it

From Ford's press release:

Premium models with standard range battery receive new 19-inch Shadow-Silver painted aluminum wheels with high gloss black-painted aero covers.

Anyone seen photos of the new wheels? Just curious to see what they look like.

Also, the RWD SR 0-60 is a little bit slower but still should be very enjoyable for drivers.
Maybe these from the 2021 order guide. They were optional wheels on the Select trim.

I understand months ago. But I’m literally 3 days ago. And they are honoring it up to the 1st so it’s really 2 days. Stings a little.
That stinks for you, but they have to draw a line somewhere.

Yikes, Blue Cruise subscription is going to cost $2,100 for three years? Ouch, I was expecting it to around $600. $700/year average seems rather high to me.
Yeah, that is really steep. There is no way I would pay for it at that price. Will anyone on here pay that price? Just curious.

The standard range wheel is different (and newly introduced).

Yep, this. It's the same wheel that was optional on the Select previously. I'm guessing it is more efficient than the machined face rim and Ford wants to make sure the LFP packs get their advertised range.

Customers who have ordered a vehicle between Jan. 30 and May 1, 2023 and have not taken delivery, will receive an incentive offer from their dealer at delivery.
I'm having a hard time finding a FORD source for that. Could you help me out?

The 8th digit (number or letter) is a letter in mine. The 8th NUMBER (the last number of the VIN) is a 5. Any idea which it's supposed to be?

Interesting that my battery specifications in my order panel have been... wiped? Or just glitched out?

Would be nice to get the new battery, some sort of credit (hopefully $4,000 for my premium), 3 years of BlueCruise, and perhaps that $2,000 credit after no longer qualifying for the full federal credit.

But my dealer hasn't gotten back to me re: the $2,000 credit and who knows what the credit in the press release actually is.
I'm pretty sure it's the 8th character. It wouldn't make sense if it were the 8th number since that could happen in different positions in the VIN, depending on other options. There is also some industry standardization on the formation of the VIN.

This is the 2021 decode sheet. I don't know where to find the newest one without some googling.

Ah. Thanks, this makes sense.

2 weeks away from my GT going into production. Already had to get a signed order agreement that put the car at MSRP as my Ford reservation page shows a dealer markup of near $7k. Was already expecting I might have to walk away from the car if they play games on the pricing, so not feeling too confident in getting the $4k reduction. Looks like I might be reordering.... sigh...

it looks like they dropped the Cyber Orange Metallic color from the list - always nice to have a rare color retired. ;)

[ edit: possibly dropped. we'll know for sure when the order bank opens back up tomorrow ]

Saw that too, but I wasn't sure if it was dropped completely, or just restricted to the GT/GTPE trims like in 2021 (and not shown on that page). Guess we need to wait for build and price to go live.

Both our Mach-e and Lightning have it included for now. When it comes time to re-up...not sure.

For the Mach-e - probably not. That is my wife's car and we don't road trip it that often (though if she want's it she gets it).

For the Lighting, I probably will because that is our main family road trip vehicle and I do several ~1,000mi trips per year for work in it.

The bigger question to me is if they will offer per year (vs. 3 year) purchase options. Not sure how long we plan on keeping these, or if we will just into the Gen 2s as soon as they come out. I would hate to pay for 3 years, and then trade in 1 year later!

OK, I'm not seeing the $64,000 question here.

Last I remember, the reason the Chinese don't have the 5 second 'rule' is the different type of batteries.

Do the new GTPEs with this new battery still have the 5 sec rule?
