@JoeDimwit not seeing how you can change the amperage in the app. Any direction?
That’s the crappy part… you have to delete the unit, then when you re-add it you tell it it’s connected to a smaller circuit breaker. In my case, since I wanted 32 amps max, I told it it was on a 40A breaker. If I needed to drop down to 24A, I’d tell it it was a 30A breaker.

Download the ChargePoint Service Pro app. That will let you change the amperage without having to set it up again.

Damnit!!! I wish I had known that before resetting mine the old way… I still have to mess with my WiFi to get my unit to reconnect.

I got this update yesterday. Braking is definitely smoother when coming to a complete stop with 1PD.

The direction to try it came from someone I trust due to their job, and it does seem to be working. It
Cool. I wonder what throttling charging has to do with it though.

Installed!
Ford Mustang Mach-E Ford Power-up 4.2.6 IMG_5580

I checked my 12v battery level before the instal last night just to be sure.

What has everyone been seeing for range post update? Is it more or less realistic?

Also what did the do to the charge port connection?

I had a failed 4.2.6 update over night a couple of days ago. The next day I made sure the 12 volt battery was topped up and tried update now. It was successful. I updated the SOBDMA module in December via FDRS so that module was up-to-date.

4.2.6 has tried to install nearly a dozen times. Every everyday scenario imaginable. Plugged in to the home charger, not plugged in, driven for an hour beforehand, scheduled initiation, manual initiation... It always fails. Absolutely maddening.

Now I'm wondering if the fact that the charge port was replaced (under warranty) has something to do with the 4.2.6 install fail.
Mine failed several times as well, and I also had tried all the things you and @ZombieJester mentioned. Based on a post by @Mach-Lee I set it to charge for at least three hours and changed my update schedule to update one hour after the charge should have been completed. It worked! Woke up to an updated car.

Newbie here. Mine just updated May 16 to 4.2.2. How long does it take to get updates? Are they done in stages?

There is no set time but I will say that after sitting for 6 months with no updates that once I received the first 4.2.X then they all came in within a couple of weeks except this latest one which appears to be out for EA at this time.

That app asked me only what the circuit was. I answered the fact it was 50 amps. So does that mean they think 50 amps is safe and sets it there?
