I think “fear” is the wrong word or maybe it is for some. concern is the right word. If fear enters the equation sell the car. Luckily I have other cars and one that is more fun to WOTTo each their own, but living in fear is ridiculous to me. We took a 2,950 mile drive with the 2022 Mach-E (made before the new HVBJB) in February. The previous May we took it on a 1,045 mile trip, and in August on a 625 mile trip, followed by a 555 mile trip. I have stomped on the pedal more times than I can count.
fear can be paralyzing unless you can control it. Concern is being cautious and understanding the risks of what you are doing.
I for example am not paralyzed by it but my wife would be. I take the car everywhere I go but in the back of my mind I wonder will this be the time. Doesn’t stop me but.
I would absolutely drive the car to Florida on my own but if it broke down in nowheresville with my wife in the car the I told you so’s would be too much to take, LOL
