Showing conflicting info on that one. It's showing in the app as MD but not the website. On Plugshare the only pic that shows a holster isn't MD.

i think i'd trust the tesla app over the website since it also has to have the integration for unlocking the MD on a specific post. i don't see any chatter on the tesla forum that tracks these sites like crazy but they seem to have lost interest since it was commissioned.

Monticello MN is on the website map now, so looks good. A picture on Plugshare from 3 days ago shows a regular holster instead of MD, which threw me off. It also doesn't show up on another Tesla website that tracks them, which is unusual. I guess they're coming out so fast that they're losing track (or losing interest).

Two other locations listed for new stations that are supposed to be MD are Glendale AZ and Northglen CO.

I want to drive my Mach E from DC to Detroit but Rt 80 Ohio needs more fast chargers, ABRP is recommending Sheffield OH EA station but the reviews are not good. I may have to drive an ICE car. I keep checking each day hoping Tesla will add a Magic Dock.

Avon is 16 miles off route one way. I find the Hyundai dealers (with 1 slow charge point) is not worth the risk. The Rivian charger in Strongsville OH would be ideal but unfortunately it is for Rivians only. Now I know why Ohio has the lowest EV adoption of any state 4% .

You can use the EA charger at Sheltz in Cranberry Twp. Pa. Which is just off the PA turnpike and I 79. Then get back w teslaon the turnpike and continue to the Ohio turnpike rest area east of Toledo. This would be doable with the larger battery pack. Or go I79 north to I80 west which connects to the Ohio turnpike. Many new Tesla charging locations on the Ohio Turnpike.

Probably not. If last week's pace continued, it would cover maybe 1/3rd of the V3 stations that we're suppose to gain access to all at once with the adapter next spring.

Last week's impressive MD pace has so far slowed this week too. Hoping it picks back up.

Even when we get access to all V3's, there's a lot of holes. By one recent count, 39% of SC stations were still V2s that won't work for us.

Every little bit helps, of course, but for road trips spotty coverage will still be a problem to deal with. Still be a lot of mix-and-matching to do for lengthy road trips.

Kyle Connor did post a tweet of a new V3 location with Magic Dock that is awaiting activation. That would be the first Supercharger that opens with CCS compatibility.

Pretty sure that was the Northglen CO one (just down the road from me). That and Glendale AZ one have been identified for a few weeks as the known brand new stations that are gonna start off with MDs. Those are the only 2 pending stations on that list though.

I did see another report that a string of them are coming along I-94 in N Dakota, but unconfirmed.

It looks like that EVGO is .55/kw. At that price it would have been cheaper to drive my previous ICE. Hopefully some competition will keep the rates from getting so high that an EV is not practical on the highway.
