The TCU....is a USB update...how in the world can it take 12 hours? If he's thinking doing it by CAN bus...there aren't any updates that take that long (IPMA can take 4-5 with a VCM II or Mongoose). But back to the fact that the TCU is a USB update.....takes probably a shorter amount of time than an APIM does. 12 hours! This is what happens if you eat all the gummies in the bag at once.Mike,
Took my MME into service today. They mentioned all the dtcs were showing as historical and probably when I unplugged the battery to get the tcu back up and running. He cleared those and said as far as updates everything shows green. He said it’s ok if TCU and GWM show wanting update at the same time. Not good if TCU, GW and APIM at the same time.
He offered to update my GWM and said that might spark more updates later on its own. Told me the tcu could take up to 12 hours so he didn’t attempt it. ?

Yes...but I just paid the $12 for a year and got it over with.
Here's what's stupid. FSA programs 21G01, 22S29, 22S41 and 23S56 are available again, and at least two of those would be updates to the powertrain. That means if you have powertrain updates in your list right now and you went in for one of those programs...your powertrain updates would get applied.

Strange DSP & RFA are still showing when I had both of those OTAs. Maybe it isn't refreshing properly still.It's working but it's not straightforward trying to login.
