Some vehicles may disengage one-pedal drive mode below 15 MPH accompanied by a "One Pedal Drive Fault" message displayed in the instrument cluster. This issue affects approximately 3400 vehicles. A software fix is available at your dealer by updating the PCM and powertrain modules. This will also be released as an OTA in Q4 2024.

Thank you for posting the bulletin, I just got the message on my FordPass. I saw the P0C2F-92 code and have been getting the "1 Pedal Drive Fault" message.

These are either specific vehicles Ford identified as having the fault triggered, or vehicles that haven't had their PCM software updated for some reason.

Thanks as always for the update, Lee. I was just thinking yesterday I need to check and see if an OTA is expected for this (annoying) issue, and bang, you and Ford deliver the very next morning.

This issue affects approximately 3400 vehicles.
Thanks, Mach-Lee!

This CSP is listed for me on ford.com, so I guess that means I am one of the 3400?

I never had a 1PD fault until I allowed my dealer to install 23B50. After that was installed, I did get a 1PD fault, took the car in for service and the dealer told me that problem was fixed by re-programming SOBDM.

Is this a different issue now causing me 1PD faults? Or am I on the list of 3400 vehicles because the SOBDM re-programming never really worked and I am still at risk for 1PD faults caused by 23B50?

I guess I don't know whether my issue is already fixed or whether I should let them do some more re-programming under this new CSP. Any advice would be appreciated.

As I see it, you get another free PCM update, so why the heck not? They probably have a newer version out unless it was updated recently. If you don't care, just wait for the OTA or until your next service visit. If you aren't getting 1PD faults anymore, there's no harm in waiting.

That makes sense, I was trying to do math and just couldn't get that low of a number.

I bet the 3,381 affected vehicles are largely the same ones that received the defective Field Service Actions on or after April 26 of this year for the HVBJB (22S41, 23S56), Charge Cord Stuck (23B50), and a few other FSAs. Those FSAs were suspended because they were found to cause 1-Pedal Drive Fault errors, and I suspect the affected vehicles - mine included - were never properly re-programmed to eliminate the faults. Ford does not admit that this is the case, but...

Call me a cynic.

So this does nothing to fix the uncommanded drive mode switching that I experienced again yesterday I guess (unbridle back to engage). And my car is not listed as affected by the 1PD thing anyway. I would have thought that a powertrain update might have been released that would address that problem while they were at it.

The service advisor at my dealership called me today to schedule a visit to get this done. I appreciate that they are being proactive.

I've been getting the unbridle to engage thing a lot lately, too. Driving me nuts. It refuses to let me go back into unbridle unless I turn the car off and start again. It seemed to have been fixed for a while, but now it is doing it again. I haven't gotten the 1PD warnings yet nor is it listed in my Ford account anywhere, just the 23B50 for the charge cord stuck.

I have been getting the error since I got mine two years ago. To fix it hit Whisper then Unbridle, no need to cycle the engine.

I think the moratorium on 23B50 has been lifted. You can call your SA to check that...and you do have a set of powertrain updates that they would program under FSA 23B50 that would make sure you didn't get the 1PD fault anyway. Up to you. When I did mine it took 25 minutes. Dealerships are different though.
