Either or but both would be nice to know.
A 2lb ankle weight positioned slightly off center from top of wheel is sufficient to bypass the torque sensor without changing the front wheel alignment.

And there is no difference in safety because the eye nanny remains active in either event. You always have to watch the road and be ready to take over control.

"Sir, why did you crash your car?"
"Officer, this weight that I hung on the steering wheel hit my hand when I was trying to turn the wheel to avoid that car, and I went out of control."

The traffic on my daily 65-miles-each-way drive is too obnoxious and variable to get settled in to HF, I think.

I'm glad no one said anything about knitting or doing the crossword. Yet.

I'm a little concerned about Rick, though- traffic cams are public, you know...

“Sir, why did you crash your car?”
“Officer, my hand cramped up from wagging my finger at people on the internet, and I got distracted by inventing ridiculous hypothetical conversations with police officers.”
“I appreciate your honesty, young man. I’m gonna let you off with a warning.”

Yeah now it's coming back to me. I tried this once and it worked great but then Ford issued an OTA that locked me out and now this is the only solution I came up with.

As you can see it isn't the best solution but I'm sure it is @Mach-Lee approved.

In all honesty it was was Mach-Lee who came up with the "string theory" if you will and that is when it really "popped" for me.

Anyway I hope this helps future and current Mach-E owners to circumvent the BlueCruise safety systems.
