Do you connect it to your home WiFi as well? Yeah, I’d like to hear from the experts in here how we could get these updates pushed. I saw I hadn’t had an update since June 2024.
Wifi at home.
i was updated a week or so ago then updated the rest myself. It was June’24 before that as well. They do seem underway with the backlog.

Heh, I have a suspicion recent updates available via FDRS for my 2022 MME GTP 3FMTK4SXXNMA47660 and 2024 Lincoln PHEV 5LMTJ5DZ5RUL06383. Can someone please check FDRS to help me with what I'm doing this weekend. lol?

Not sure where to post this, but FYI for European owners: @Mache_Nor has a 2021 in Norway who received the BC 1.3 update and everything seems to be working on it. I know a few of you guys have reached to me to help enable the new features and we have not been able to figure it out, but I have the config from his car to try it out. I have already messaged a few of you guys, but I don't remember everyone, so if you see this and you wanna FAAFO if it will work for you, message me.

Edit: So far, no luck in getting it to work with the one person that has tried it.

Wifi does not come into play for OTA updates. The updates are sent over the cellular connection, but does not need the hotspot service, just the portion that Ford pays for for connectivity.

You just got the car and there's an open FSA for "Customer Satisfaction Program 24P16". Kinda surprising they didn't do this before you drove it off the lot. It involves doing a diagnostic test on the 12V battery and replacing it if it fails the test. They didn't tell you anything about that? On second thought, they did a replacement of the 12V battery on the 5th of February, so that's probably why they haven't signed off on that yet.

On the 4th of March you had an APIM update that failed due to low 12V Battery (Priority Update 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE).

The previous, and successful, OTA was the GWM (gateway module) on the 11th of February (ECG-24.2.4.10).

The system says you do have updates set to automatic but that you haven't set a schedule up for the inhibit updates to take place. Might be a good idea to do that.

Here's the list of updates available in FDRS for your VIN:

This also serves to provide clues as to what OTAs you should expect to see. Once you get that OTA for the APIM (Sync), which should be Priority Update 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE then you can expect (looking at the Additional Updates section) to see an IPC update, and once that's done a TCU update, etc. until you're caught up. There will likely be other things show up as well, like the CMR, IPMA/PSCM and powertrain, but we need to see that APIM and then the IPC show up really before anything else will happen. I can tell you that once all these updates are done the car will likely exhibit zero drivability issues at all. Mine works great, no complaints at all.
I have booked an appointment with my local Ford dealership Service Center after talking with the 'Software Team' on the phone. I explained everything to the s/w team and they stated I would need to take it in for the failed install that they are seeing on their side (they would not tell me what it was). They did give me a case number to reference to the service advisor. Can you think of anything else I will need to bring up to them?

Also, do we know the difference between these two TSB's? I've seen the thread and documents for 2049, but am not clear on what 2106 covers, or if I should push for it over 2049. Is one more thorough?

Last I checked, the OTA is no longer pending for mine. It was stuck at the request_delivery_queued but never changed to trigger created. Now it’s in history and no longer showing under in-progress. I’m sure yours did the same thing as it was stuck with request_delivery_queued since the 26th like mine. I no longer have access to pts to check.

OTA trigger is still active, but still in "request delivery queued" status. I would try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 20 minutes at this point. If the problem is on the server side, that won't help, but it won't hurt to try, either.

Hi everyone. Just got our 3 year old MME Extended AWD - been into dealer for a load of items - but getting told software is up to date but I think it’s way stuck on old one - 4.0 or something.

Would someone really help me out to get the info on which elements have SW outstanding pls?

Your car has no OTA history going back 60 days.

Your APIM (Sync) is very outdated and I think your should call Ford UK and ask them to look into it. It's possible that your APIM recieved an update way back in the fall of 2021 that corrupted some data and is making it impossible for your car to recieve other necessary updats (like the GWM, TCU, and anything that would normally come as an OTA.)

I did not. Everything seemed fine yesterday when i picked it up and all updates look to be working.

I'll set up a date later in the month. I'd like to drive and enjoy the car for a bit. It's been at the dealer longer than in my garage.

Could this be an issue with the doors not being responsive at times to the button? I get that and sometimes Android Auto wireless connection issues.
Well, this relates to either a lack of asbuilt data about your door modules in the cloud server, or the data is corrupt, one or the other. So the tech would 'normally' (if they cared enough) click on that tile warning (it's a button) that would then report the problem to Ford for manual intervention by a human. And since the data may just be missing for some reason, running the "Read Configuration Data" tool in FDRS would grab the car's current setting for those modules and report it to the cloud server...and then the warning's would drop off.

Wow, that’s a lot. Thanks for checking. I appreciate you! You know what could be stopping me from getting the updates. I just bought it. 23’ premium 15k miles. New to ford OS and unsure how they do their updates. Read that WiFi should be turned off to help get updates. Any truth to that?
You can leave it on. OTAs are initiated by the vehicle's TCU but larger downloads could then be downloaded over an available Wi-Fi connection to keep the car TCU's from having to do it over cellular.
