After getting almost 60K miles out of my Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires, I thought I'd try the newest PIrelli EV-specific ultra-high-performance all season tires, the P Zero AS Plus 3 ELECT. (I was going to try the P Zero All Season Plus ELECT, but they've apparently been discontinued and replaced with the AS Plus 3 ELECTs.)

After a 500-mile round trip journey from MD to NY and back, I can say they're fantastic, at least in the dry. No rain or cold to speak of yet, so can't compare their all-season-ness to the Michelins, but in terms of quieting, I was skeptical that small strips of foam lining the inside could make an appreciable difference. They definitely do! They are significantly quieter on all types of road surfaces. I'm curious to see how much louder they'll get as they break in and wear a little, but so far, so good!

The steering feel seems a tiny bit mushier, but not enough to detract from fun driving and, ahem, spirited lane changes. :)

Overall verdict so far: super happy!

How centered do they feel? I installed the P zero pz4 summers and for 200 miles they felt vague compared to Michelins and Continentals. They are better now. I wonder if the a/s has the same issue.

I didn't notice any issues with centering, even on interstates with some worn pavement where I get lots of tramlining in my solid-rear-axle GT500.

I put a set of these on last fall for the Winter in NY (before I moved to Florida in March). They performed wonderfully in rain and snow, too. Yes, they are noticeably quieter than the OEM Summer tires.

I have these tires too - they are fantastic. Amazingly quiet, handle great, no issues in the wet. 3,000 miles in.

Did you have a full 4-wheel alignment check & adjust at same time? Can make a world of difference and eliminate any blame for vague or other feelings on tyres.

And always a good investment to maintain good, even tyre wear and maintain range.

Would you do it on a 6-month old vehicle?

How are they on efficiency? I put CC2'S on back in October. They are amazing in snow and deep slush but I seem to be running about 0.2 miles per kWh less on efficiency. I have yet to use them in the height of summer though. I might just be dealing with cooler temp losses. Also, I went from 225 to 235.

I get an alignment on all my vehicles about a month after I purchase them. They are rarely within spec and sometimes way off.

This is my '24 just after I bought it and you can see the Toe was way out on the right front, and just barely out on the left rear. Camber was not bad but because I drive a lot of mountainous roads, I like a camber setting of about -1.5 on all corners so that is what I have them set it at.

CC2's are a great all season tire especially in the snow. However it has been mentioned in many reviews they have a slightly higher rolling resistance than the average all season because of its tread pattern. In the European ratings for rolling resistance, they usually get around a "C". That is about the only drawback to those tires.

Thanks Mark. Fortunately, the car's range is still completely adequate for my needs. My choice to go overkill and get the ER battery giving me a nice buffer. Still, I'm interest in how the Pirellis compare overall. Glad EV tires keep getting better.
