That is what the Ford tracker has showed me since I got the shipped email (actually, I think the tracker updated to this status a few hours before I got the shipped email). I'm guessing our cars are around Laredo now, hopefully halfway to KC. People in other threads contact their dealer or Ford chat to try to get a better idea of where their car is, but I'm too lazy to do that, at least for now... I think the next email you get is "Finalize your Purchase" which happens around the time it arrives at your dealer.Ok, my heart just jumped in my throat. B4 I get too excited, check ur tracker and tell me what u see. The Ford order tracker shows its on the way to the dealer. Is this too good to be true???? I thought I was still on the train going to KC.
I'm too lazy as well to check. Going to be VERY occupied as of tomorrow. Going for a long weekend at our ranch. Hoping to shoot a ton of hogs, which is a GREAT nuisance here in Texas. That is the best three line summary of the shipping process! The only other thing that I would add that hasn't come up in our thread yet is United Road. United Road does a lot of last mile truck deliveries to dealers-- especially in the northeast from what I hear. It's possible to create an account with them, select your dealer, and then you have the ability to track the arrival of every vehicle United Road handles for your dealership, including (eventually) yours.
Yeah, monitoring the other weeks, it looks like we have so far been very lucky with movement. Hopefully that continues with transport. I have seen some delivered in two weeks, but the typical delivery time seems to be 3-5 weeks for most people.
If it says "In Transit" on top and Pending below then yes you are all caught up, though our cars are probably spread out on various trains located between Mexico City and Kansas City. I don't think any of us will start seeing movement from "Pending" in the lower (Pallsapp) part until next week at the earliest-- as the cars hopefully start getting transferred through KC.Not sure if I’m finally caught up to everybody else now, or still behind. Received my shipping email last night, both ford trackers have been showing shipped, but still showing pending with 87 others on ordertracker. Can’t wait for it to get here!
I'm guessing you will be fine if your dealership is half decent but you might want to bring it up ahead of time just to be safe. That said, somebody in another thread said their car had arrived at their dealer months before they had expected it to- they had locked their down payment funds in a CD or something similar so they couldn't withdraw the funds until June. I'd be more worried about that kind of situation-- not just being out of town for a week or so.
