I think Norfolk Southern left my railcar in East Decatur, IL. Have been there for 4 days now

I don't think my car stayed here too long, but always a risk with these big railyards that they are spending a lot of time shuffling train cars around which are going to different destinations. Think of them as a worst case scenario layover airport. If you miss your connection, you might have to wait another day for the next flight out, and that's if it isn't already fully booked...

Just called the shipping line -- still there.

Well, it's sunny and 76 degrees there today. At least our Mach-Es are having nice weather today on their cross country/international tour.

Finally have a railcar number, was able to track is using Norfolk Southern. Last update was Clapper, MO 5/8 at 8:03 AM. That's a little less than half way to Decatur. I'm hoping to see the same progress as the NJ folks and make it through MO, IL, IN, and OH within a few days.

Once you get into PA, it slows to a crawl...

Hey CarDreams what dealership did you order from? I just noticed your in Charlotte as well. My Mach E appears to be on a different car then yours though AOK 502728

I'm in Rochester, so I'm hoping it skips that mess and slides up to Buffalo real smooth like. Wishful thinking, I know

Thats odd they are not in the same train car, but none of this has been logical since the start. I ordered from Town and Country, you?

Tracking this train stuff is sooo addicting and fun. I have figured out which track its on and have finally found a map that has roads and towns on the map as well. So there are 2 sets of tracks that go through my Itty bitty town of magnolia and I found the track that it's on not only goes through my town, but is the track closest to my house, like 4 miles away?. This is soooo crazy. It would be pointless to go camp out cause I think the cars they have us on are the 3 tiered enclosed ones and u can't see squat? I'm supposed to be menu planning and cleaning, but who can work when u can track a train?

Got a call from the dealer this afternoon, it's scheduled to arrive today or tomorrow and will be ready by no later than Thursday ! Now just need to get all my ducks in a line, price protection documents, xplan pin, rebates, etc.

Little did I know, last Friday was the last time i will ever need to fill up my car with gas again !
