Salesperson needs to stick to what he does best (BS) put the drill down. I have heard some horror stories about body/paint damage. But I'm a little lost about examining the interior. Is there anything specific. Other than checking for any damage (I guess)?

There are a few transport people who drive your car around during the shipping process. Make sure there are no rips, tears, scratches or stains on the seats. Ensure you have the appropriate floor mats. Ensure you have the mobile charger.

Something of an unexpected update (to be expected ? in this process).

My train was unloaded in Walkertown, NC (did not continue to CLT on a train or make it to Greensboro -- made it outside of Winston Salem) and placed on a truck, this morning around 1 am. APB Transport LLC (North Carolina Transport Company) for you NC people who may be interested.

Walkertown is a quick (1.5 hour) drive to CLT, but with the trucker shortage, we will see if it makes it today down 77. At this point maybe I should just go pick it up myself ??

Mine is on a cruise from Veracruz to Antwerpen since 3rd May.

Left Davisville a day ago, and crossing the Atlantic now. ETA in Antwerpen between 22th and 24th May. On Grande Texas.

It will then take another 2 Month or less, till delivery.

My delivery timeframe is 5/17 through 5/23. This week is "the" week for us!

Edit: Apparently, my car may still be on the train via Ford Chat (checked in with them for the first time in a couple of weeks), and only assigned to a trucking company. I just called my dealer and they stated they will, "look into it and call me back".

Tracking becomes more nebulas in these final stages it seems.

This is the third estimated delivery week for me (it's quietly slipped each time their previous estimate became out of reach). I think Ford was a bit too optimistic estimating 5/3-5/9 for a NJ delivery.

My railcar just arrived at Richmond, CA. now my car needs a truck to dealership. If things move well, I may get the car this week!

Regardless of individual variation, I have to say that our build week has been relatively blessed by the EV gods. Some of the 4/11 build week cars are just making it to Laredo right now.

Ford Chat is still showing Ramp 6P (as of May 5, 2022) for me with an Estimated delivery date of May 19 2022 to the dealer here in VA. Here's to hoping they just forgot to scan my car and it is still not sitting in KC, MO.

I spent the weekend driving and charging. I am LOVING Mustang Sally! First drive was down PCH, of course! Yesterday we did a nice local mountain drive on Ortega Highway. Great handling and so fun to drive the curvy roads. Put nearly 375 miles on her over the weekend
