Now entering the phase where I can trace accurately my MME till the port. After that it will be again nothing till it pops up at dealer. Could go from 2 weeks to 2 months. I'm set for mid June.

Btw: already need to avoid traffic !!

As a Four time Used Prius' owner, it's frustrating to get back into the Prius after a ride in the MachE. I can go further without a stop in my Pri just for the record!?
FORMER Prius C owner here. I loved that car. Never worried about gas prices for 10 years. Once you learned how to coast, it was pretty fun and zippy (in the city). Highway driving sucked though. I'm already using some of those coasting skills in Sonic. Even though it's a much larger and heavier car, just the design and it being eletric makes it much easier to move around in. I am use to feeling a lot more drag and getting up to speed in the Prius C. Such a. Learning curve.

Hobbes is home! First impressions of the Premium, woah, great luxury interior, great driving experience in unbridled (should I ever change it?) and its got a kick when you need it. So stoked to finally have it and this build week thread has been really great. Let's definitely keep it going as more of us get our cars!

I’ve been in Unbridled + 1PD since I picked it up. I see no reason to change as I was always a big fan of engine braking in my ICE cars.

You should try Unbridled without 1 pedal. You still get light regen on decel. I’ve found this to be the best of both worlds.

Got the call from my dealership today that my Grabber Blue Mach-E was delivered and ready for pickup. The process was painless and sure enough, they honored MSRP. Napa Ford was great they even gave me a comparison of cost savings if I registered my car to my Napa house instead of San Jose. Managed to save over $2200 in taxes alone! Very happy with the experience. Good luck to all of those who haven't taken delivery yet.

Ok question time! As I am starting to get Hobbes settled into the garage I am trying to figure out my charger setup. The electrician installed the charger box but as you can see, it juts out from the wall and because of the angle, I am not sure if I can have the mobile charger rest in the bracket while it's charging. Is anyone letting their mobile charger hang from the outlet or does it need to ideally rest in the mounting bracket? Suggestions welcomed!

Yeah I feel the same way. When I was in the Military, we put trackers on everything when we shipped it over seas, we could track it 24/7. Anything over a certain amount got a tracker on it. This is also my first Ford as well and I am not impressed, by the logistics capability. Hurry up and wait is something we got used to in the Military, but for something I am paying 60k for, is a bit frustrating.
Well as a fellow military vet I can tell you thanks for your service.

Ours just hang off the outlet, but we do have a holder for the power cord to hang from when not in use. No issues

I believe you are saying the charger won't mount because the outlet is too far out from the wall, right?
Number one, I would not just let the charger hang from the outlet. The cable which you can change from 120 or 240 just is a friction fit to the charger so I would worry about that loosening over time. Worst case you don't catch it and it arcs inside those connections as it loosens up.
How to mount: I would simply put a board or piece of plywood behind the charger to bring it out away from the wall as needed. Two or three pieces thick if needed to match your outlet. Mount the board(s) then mount the charger on that.

Good luck.

The mobile charger has a removable bracket that can be attached to the wall.

Couple that with a product like the one linked below for cable and J1772 connector management.

UPDATE: It's been a crazy busy couple of days, but I managed to pick up Mach-E-ato from the dealership Friday morning. Looks like 2 mach e and I were picking up our Rapid Reds right around the same time yesterday. What a week, fam!

You definitely don't want to let if hang by the cord. I would just build something to mount it to that juts out similarly to the outlet. A couple of pieces of scrap wood would probably do the trick.

At least you have yourself a nice NEMA 14-50. I just recently realized that my garage can only support a 14-30, so the FMC will not work for me plugged into 220v. Not sure what to do, but I'm thinking I may just have to invest in a 24 amp charger to use in the garage. Bummer.
