You would have to ask the Parts department. As to "better", I read those threads, first when there was a carbon filter one, then the new one close to HEPA. I don't live in a place where we have stop and go traffic, so I rarely smell exhaust. I don't live in Nebraska, so I don't always smell manure. At home, I buy those blue fiberglass filters and change them like 3 times a year. Are they still using the original filter for those replacements? After reading posts here I bought one of the better filters and replaced it myself. But I thought I read here that Ford now sells a better quality air filter so I was wondering if they use those now.
My 2013 F-150 had no air filter, period.
If I can buy a regular air filter for $20, and a fancy one for twice that, I'm buying the $20 one.
