Perhaps Ford is getting more confident in their roll outs and increasing the deployment size?
Oh man, I desperately hope so - would love to have that time back rather than have to go to the dealer and wait. I have a family road trip in a few weeks. I'm not THAT worried about the HVBJB, but I really would sleep easier with the recall update. It seems like the OTA will get here in time, but I have a dealer appointment next week just to be safe.

I haven't seen any update yet but not certain if I will since I manually applied all my remaining updates in FDRS before my trip to Vegas at the beginning of July. So in theory I don't need it; but my understanding was they still seemed to "try" to roll it out. We'll see I suppose. FordPass certainly tells me I have a pending recall (since they don't sanitize their database via their own servers list of currently installed versions).
Is your BlueCruise still showing as recall FSA in ETIS? All mine are still showing up even though I got OTA over a month ago.

I just did a 700 mile round trip with 4 DCFC stops and did just fine. My car is now at over 10k miles.

How to check mark too but not sure what it means. On the display in the car
I think the various symbols are shown in the owner's manual with a description of what they mean. I believe the check mark means the OTA installed successfully.

Here is how the process worked for my car. I leave Auto Update turned off because I want to schedule a time that is convenient to me vs just happening whenever. This particular update requires some down time which is a problem for me because I use my car round the clock. But since we are able to schedule the update, we can easily pick a time that is satisfactory and convenient. And for those that are concerned.....they could also make sure the vehicle is parked in a convenient spot just in case the update goes terribly wrong and the car is immobilized. (Although I have never heard of that actually happening to anyone.....yet).

So, when the update is ready, you will see an icon like this....if you touch the icon then some description appears. You can drag the text up to continue reading...
Ford Mustang Mach-E 22S41 & 22S29 Recall OTA Software Are Out 1659629792391

If the update sounds important enough and you want to continue then just go back up to the top and touch the "Accept" button. If you want to pass on the update then just close the window.

Ford Mustang Mach-E 22S41 & 22S29 Recall OTA Software Are Out 1659629913204

Then go about your business and use your vehicle as normal while it downloads the update in the background. When the package is ready to install, you will see a notification this.

Ford Mustang Mach-E 22S41 & 22S29 Recall OTA Software Are Out 1659630080240

Touching that icon brings up some important information. In this case, the car needs to be parked and left inoperable while the update installs. If you are ready now, then press "Update Now". If you need to still use your car then you have an option to schedule the update.

I chose to schedule the update so I got a screen for that.

The icon clears away and you are all good to go.

If something changes and you want to reschedule.....you get that opportunity here.

When your scheduled time is approaching, then you get a reminder. Looks like this.

This icon means the update installed correctly.
Some OTAs erase your stuff. This one erased my charging locations and schedules (including departure times.) It took about a day before it would allow me to re-program the locations.

I know it's because it's the internet, but so many people are dead certain that Ford deliberately under engineered the part, with the NHTSA recall saying "number affected: 100%" or something like that. But I also have close to 15K miles on mine too, and I don't see any voltage drop at all across the HVB and positive contactor (via Carscanner) which makes me think this really could just be manufacturer parts out of promised spec.

Anyway, enough of my digression - back to OTA status. Hopefully I have mine soon.

That is a fantastic write up. You should add that to the Understanding OTA sticky post. Maybe @mpshizzle can add it to the top post.

I had auto updates ON. Today I got notification for 3.2.1, and found automatic updates OFF. That must have happened with last week's update which reset some things.

I had this weird check appear this morning as well with no context and no indications an update was actually applied. Like the others, clicking on the check just took me to the main software updates page and there were no details. Just said system was up to date. Nothing on FordPass, nothing in widget. I'm a '22, so no previous OTA's. Wonder if the others reporting this are also '22s.
Similar to what others posted, I think I had this as well. I also lost Apple CarPlay and had to reboot the screen to get it work again. Have no idea if these are connected or not.

In FordPass, what are the steps to see completed updates? Vehicle -> Features and Settings -> Software Updates? This just shows me the schedule and tells me how to change it in the car. I have nothing new in messages.

Is your BlueCruise still showing as recall FSA in ETIS? All mine are still showing up even though I got OTA over a month ago.
Nope, my only showing recall is the contactor... EDIT: I lied. ETIS DOES show bluecruise and the 21P22 still as well...

Still waiting for the OTA update on a ‘22 premium in Canada.
Strange thing is, while I got a recall letter in the mail, my VIN shows no recalls at https://www.ford.ca/support/recalls/

Seems like a weird disconnect and I am wondering if that is consistent for others and if there is any correlation with that web form and receiving the update OTA?

thanks.
