Ah, I think you're referring to the Ford site. Try this site, which has some more info. Put in your order number and VIN.

https://www.ordertrack.app/

Under the bottom "Shipping Info" section, what does it say for Vehicle Status?
Oh the ordertrack app... They both say "Pending" and "ASN"

The status for both cars in palsapp is also pending.

I'm in the 4/18 build group but my car was also built on the 4th. I'm hoping my car is on this same track since my dealership said I'd get it by June 11th. I'm picking up a canceled order so I'm not sure Ford would be super forth coming with info.
My parents' California Rt1 is also a cancelled order. The dealer was trying to sell them a select. So I told my parents to ask if they had a Premium AWD Extended Range or California Rt1 available. Dealer said matter of fact they have a California Rt1 AWD arriving late May as a canceled order. The rest is history. lol

Also, Yottawatt's post prompted me to check with Ford chat. My vehicle's in Laredo as well. woo hoo.

Order Track still shows my shipping status as ASN.
Mine too. Been there since May 7. The average duration of ASN status in ordertrack has been steadily rising which is worrisome. Now at over 18 days. And someone’s been there 38 days. Yikes.

I'm build week 4/18/22 cars built but apparently just sitting in Mexico.
Was hoping ppl prior too all had theirs shipped out.
Mine is supposed to be at the dealer in 3 weeks, Ford App and tracker say "in Production" our first edition the app and tracker were pretty accuratly updated throughout, this year not so much. I think it's accuracy is completely in question. Didn't even match up with Ford Chat.

I’ve never tracked a vehicle like this before, but if they are actually in Laredo, then wouldn’t the ASN designation be incorrect?

From OrderTrack - “Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) is the first step in the shipment process. A shipping notice is created when a vehicle is moved into the production process in order to allow the shipping providers the ability to plan for future shipments.”

It seems like whatever OrderTrack is pulling from isn’t updating properly but we’re actually on the move. I’ve seen some folks in earlier build weeks say theirs arrived at their dealer and never changed off ASN.

Good point, maybe I should stop checking OrderTrack. That said, from other threads it seems like it can change from ASN to picked, etc. In my case, though I was on the move, I seem stuck in Laredo, at least since May 7 according to a few chats with Ford. I assume the car is just waiting to get on a train to head up North but for some reason there is a delay getting it on the train. But like you, this is the first time I've ever tried to track a car. I remember when I bought my Audi almost 9 years ago, it had to be shipped from overseas and it took a few months but I just waited till the dealer called me. I somehow got sucked into this whole tracking craziness, like everyone else here I guess :). I do want to get a heads up though so I have time to go through some of the issues like how best to finance if our dealer balks at providing Options with the rate that was in place when we ordered which I think 2.49%? (not to mention the whole price protection thing).

The entire "shipping information" section of order track is just for the Jack Cooper/Pallsapp section of the trip through Kansas City. Cars stay ASN until they arrive in Kansas City and get transferred to the second leg railyard (or dealer if in the Midwest). Also The OrderTrack time in status is based on your trim and high level shipping status (in production, awaiting shipment, in transit) not anything below in the shipping information section. Since OrderTrack debuted just over a month ago, these timelines are gradually increasing as more people use the site and track their cars for the full timeline.

Good to know, thanks for clarifying. What do you use to track once it leaves Laredo (which I guess I will only know from Ford chat?)?

You have to call Kansas City Southern Railroad and give them your railcar number to check the location. Though if there is a large volume of calls to track a railcar KCS might change their tracking policies.

Your Mach-e is loaded onto a railcar at the factory's trainyard in Mexico and doesn't come off the railcar until it reaches the ramp that is identified on your window sticker. You can get the railcar number from your dealer or Ford chat.

Interesting, thanks. Here is what I posted a few days (and pages) ago in this thread after my chat with Ford: Ford chat says my car is in transit in Laredo TX and best ETA Vanessa could provide was the same as my reservation page: July 5. When I asked if she had any info on railways and car info she wrote: "The last transport information I can see is: Railcar # AOK 502737 and the carrier name is Kansas City Southern Railway Co, but I believe that this might change soon due the vehicle being at a junction point as of May 7th."

I didn't really understand what she meant about the junction point as of May 7th but maybe you or someone else here does. So I guess I need to figure out where that railcar is? And the railway co would tell me? I thought there were some automated ways to do that but don't recall the details.

Addendum: my sticker says RU4C in the box labeled RAMP ONE.

4/21 went in to production and hasn't moved an inch. Still says in production. What I'm gathering from other posts is it may actually have been built and is on the way or is that only if it has changed to built status but not showing as shipped? Little confused.

Mostly correct, but KCS will only help you know where the car is until it reaches Kansas City. I never bothered calling them as my car only took 12 days to reach KC from the factory. The car does leave the original railcar in Kansas City, transferred by truck to another rail company (or dealer if Midwest). Eastbound deliveries go to Norfolk Southern's terminal in Birmingham, MO. Then they get on a separate railcar that Ford Chat will be able to share with you. Norfolk Southern railcars can be tracked via an automated system (no real people to bother at all).

Since it was in Laredo a week ago, I'd guess your car is close to arrival in KC. Ford chat has no waypoints to give you between the "junction point" in Laredo (where KCS Mexico transfers to KCS) and International Freight Terminal just south of Kansas City. You can either check with Ford Chat until they have an updated location/datestamp or call KCS for a more specific location in the meantime.

RU4C is the auto ramp in Newark, NJ where Norfolk Southern will transport your car. It's where my car is now, waiting to get trucked to the dealer.

This shit is frustrating eh. Mine says built but not shipped since may 3rd but I've read someone say theirs said in production up till it was at the dealership delivered. So fingers crossed we are both in route, and they are just lazy on updating the site...
