"I show your 2022 Mustang Mach-e - VIN 3FMTK3SU1NMA50172 is In Transit. The vehicle location is Ramp 6U, Muncie, KS. The estimated arrival date to the dealer is Nov-29-2022. The Railcar # is KCS 008283 (Kansas City Southern Railway Co )."

Perhaps there is hope for those of us in the West after all?

I'm guessing you will soon get a Union Pacific railcar number, since you're heading to Denver (?). Great to see that you are no longer part of the 6R club. Mine shipped from Muncie, KS via Union Pacific. Unless you will get to Denver via KCS.

Just chatted with Ford, info was updated and confirmed the VINView update above. I was also able to get the transport provider (Union Pacific) and the railcar #, so then I called the Union Pacific number to get an update from them. It came back as follows:
* Loaded, released from Industry 10/31 1:01p, Est Arrival 11/7 4:00a
From that it would seem that the car is either on it's way or will be shortly. The end of the line last time was near Salt Lake City, which is about 6 hours away by truck. The next possible hurdle for me will be how long it sits in the railyard near SLC - last time they started to move my car about 8 days later, but then couldn't because the car wouldn't start (turned out to be a battery issue, maybe from being left on). Anyway it got fixed and loaded on to a truck 4 days later.

Doing some math, it could make it to my dealer in about 2 weeks barring a breakdown or other issue. That would be a week ahead of the front of my current ETA window of 11/21-26/2022.

Hopefully more updates are coming from VINView as well.

I have the exact same info from UP. It seemed to indicate that the 11/7 4 AM arrival time was to Muncie, but that would be going a very short distance in a week. Are you by chance rail car TTGX941998?

Hmm...I doubt/hope they aren't estimating that arrival time to Muncie. In my case, VINView says I'm already at Muncie so I think that ETA is to the railyard in SLC.

No, not that railcar. Could still be the same train though, right?

I hope you're right. If your vinview has it in Muncie, it has to be on it's way - or the update tomorrow will hopefully show that it is west of Muncie. We must be on the same train. Meridian (just west of Boise). If we are on the same train, you'll probably get yours first since you're there in SLC, but who knows...

My sister lives in Meridian (her husband works for HP)...my dealership is in American Fork - my primary worry is that the car gets hung up with a rail strike and misses tax credit - getting the car by mid November would be great. Hopefully the 30 minutes from SLC to AF won't take forever...

Its a halloween miracle! Also Vinview works amazing, got the update right now that my car left the 6R graveyard, hopefully this means a delivery near the end of Nov or earlier if I am lucky

I unfortunately won't have more updates on my car. Polestar had the spec I wanted and even with loss of tax credit the prices came out close enough to make the switch, little less up front, little more if I buy out the lease. I also just have a soft spot for the P2 so little sad to not be getting the Mach-e but excited for the Polestar in a few days.

Ok guys take this with a grain of salt because I'm mostly speculating. But I think the 1 month change in delivery date might be a glitch and it won't affect your delivery time by that much., at least not everyone of you. Here's why:

I have 2 Mach-E in order. A Premium ordered in Feb with build date of 09/19. The other one is a GT ordered in March with build date of 09/26. The Premium shipped on 09/27 (a whole 9 days before the GT which shipped 10/06). I contacted my dealer and both the GT and the Premium are currently in Florida. But my Premium just got the 1 month ETA bump now showing a 12/14/2022 - 12/20/2022 date range. Contacted my dealer again and he said the Premium is definitely in Jacksonville, FL and it should be in the dealership next week (which matches the original ETA of 10/29 to 11/04). The GT is sitting at Miami and should be in today or tomorrow, maybe Monday he said. The GT didn't get the 1 month bump in ETA though.

I dont know why the Premium got the bump on ETA but dealer says it will for sure be here next week. The glitch might have to do with Ford transitioning to the new tracking system VINVIew maybe? I dont know, just speculating. But I thought I would let all know to give you guys (and myself) a little bit of hope.

UPDATE: I just checked Ford's website and they updated my ETA for the Premium again to 11/01 to 11/07. Hopefully I get a call from my dealer today!!

You might want to check to see if they updated your ETA.

I did some notations re: 6R based on the last few pages of this thread, but I'm not going back further in the thread to search it all down. So happy to see many in 6R saw movement yesterday. Hopefully that means more got moved and you just can't see it yet.

So what this little tracking list experiment has verified is that build order doesn't particularly matter. And getting stuck at 6R sucks. And maybe that western shipments are particularly dicey on timeframes.

We took delivery yesterday and it went pretty well. They had all our X plan paperwork saved, honored interest rate at order time, and got $1000 Options incentive. We did not need to remind them about any of it. Friday they told us that they had one person who was the "Options Expert" in house, so we felt good going in to it. So that part was a breeze. Oh, and we forgot our checkbook (and live an hour away from the dealer), so they let us take the car and drop off the check today, so extra bonus points for being awesome to deal with.

Connecting us both to the car at the dealer had some issues. We had both already set up FordPass accounts, and the sales guy told us I couldn't have my own account and needed to log in under my husbands username/password (which was incorrect--you can have 10 users with their own logins connected). Then Phone and Key was just being funky for a bit, but by the time we finished paperwork, the functionality worked. Today: Scheduling ceramic and tinting. Tonight: Garage door opener set up.
