Checked Union Pacific tracking a few minutes ago and there has been a status change - "train departure 11/2 8:30a". Same ETA of 11/7 at 4a (to SLC). Looks like it's on it's way.

No update yet from VINView.

Used BlueCruise for the first time today (accidentally, LOL). Woah-it was awesome! I went from "I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to really like this car" to "OMG, I love this thing."

I'm too scared to use it. ? I hate not having control while in a vehicle. Hubby has full self driving in his Tesla and I freak out every time he turns it on. He tries to argue that the car's software can react faster than a human, which I get, but still... I don't trust other drivers enough! I also hate being in a car in general, but I actually said to him yesterday while driving that I felt really safe in the MME.

My car is MIA... Ford website ETA says 2 weeks ago... dealer doesn't know where it is... says new tracker is wrong... I dunno. Not sure what I did to offend the car shipping gods, but... I'm sorry?

My delivery window was this week and today it's officially pushed out by 2 weeks. Ford Chat told me the car is at Ramp 6U, Muncie, KS. and I got a rail car number.

There's finally movement for cars going West it seems.

When I called Union Pacific, it had the exact same departure time. @csilvest had the same info as me, though different railcars, with an arrival of 11/7 at 4 AM (we assume to SLC). He gets the VinView daily updates - hopefully it will show a location west of Muncie. Also Ford chat yesterday said "shipped Rail from Muncie, KS on 10/31." Lots of assumptions, but fingers crossed that we'll be out of the state of Kansas soon.

We are on the same train, although one of the ETA is probably wrong.

How do you know we are on same train? I'll have to check the UP maps to see if Mira Loma is along the same rail line as SLC. That would be quite the achievement if it could make it from SLC to Mira Loma in 4 hours!

Based on the same departure time I assumed it's one train making multiple stops, but it's totally possible that there are two or more trains. I'll keep an eye on the UP website since my wife has access. ChooChoo!

I was going to ask how you got that access! It would be quite the coincidence if we left the same exact time but on different trains, but yes, not sure how it could make it to CA if it's in UT that same morning.

My car is chillin at 6M waiting for a railcar assignment, hopefully will get that today or tomorrow. Its about an average of 20 days from when it leaves to get to my dealer based on what I gathered (assuming no holiday issues or random other stuff). Also assuming theres actually no damage

Another small update from Union Pacific, still nothing from VINView. Not sure what "sent out" means as opposed to "train departure". My record of Union Pacific updates so far:
