Another small update from Union Pacific, still nothing from VINView. Not sure what "sent out" means as apposed to "train departure". My record of Union Pacific updates so far:

How did you get the union pacific info? Did you have the railcar from Ford?

Yeah, VINView is a little disappointing so far - maybe it's set up to update once a day (or longer) and only if there's a change to report. Or maybe they're still working the kinks out of a new system.

I got like 4 updates one day, but one looks wrong (was wrong date, damage indiciated and location was mexico) so could be kinks in the system

Used BlueCruise for the first time today (accidentally, LOL). Woah-it was awesome! I went from "I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to really like this car" to "OMG, I love this thing."
So glad you're enjoying all of your Mach-E's features!

Time to look up some railroad terms!

Set Out (AKA Set Off) Cars left at designated points by a train.
Pickup A term descriptive of a car or cars added to a train en route between dispatching and receiving yards or cars added at dispatching yard to train operating over two or more divisions on a continuous work order.

The rail car my Mach E is on spent half a day waiting to be picked up by another train. Hopefully it leaves Kansas soon.

Checked Union Pacific for mine a few minutes ago and got the same status (picked up 11/3/2022 4:12a) although my destination is SLC (I think - no confirmation of that) at 4:00a.

I wonder if our cars are on the same train even though mine should be unloaded at SLC 4 hours earlier? Is that even enough time to make that trip, much less get my car (and others) off before resuming?

That 4 hour difference is pretty optimistic given the 14-hour stop we just had. ?

That's why I said one of our ETA is probably wrong and hopefully it's yours being conservative.

That's not too encouraging...only going 60 miles in day. Let's hope we get some traction and make it to CO by tonight! The average speed of a UP freight train is about 25 MPH...without stops, that would get us to Denver in about 20 hours.
The 4 hours ETA difference is a bit confusing. Yes, let's hope it's the SLC ETA that is conservative.

Mine has been sitting on Ramp 27 in Mira Loma, CA since 10/24 with no movement. It's heading to Santa Monica Ford in LA a 2 hour drive away ?. I check with Ford chat once a day, haha.

My original delivery date was 10/21-10/26, but now my delivery estimate keeps shifting by a few days. I was 10/29-11/4 yesterday, changed to 10/31-11/6 today.

Hopefully it'll get picked up for that last leg any day now...

Dealer tells me this:

It's still showing that it's in Missouri. It was moved finally from the drop off location to the pick up location so hopefully it will be on the way to us soon!

Sounds like some sort of "movement", which can't be bad.
